Join us as a HR Workday Configuration Developer/Analyst.

Brown Brothers Harriman is currently recruiting HR Workday Configuration Developer/Analyst to join our HRIT team.. In this role you will be responsible to develop and provide production support of our Workday Configuration across various areas of Workday. This will primarily focus on the system administration and maintenance of Workday HCM, including evaluation of system functionality, testing of system configuration changes. Non-technical skillset should include the ability to handle highly sensitive data with confidentiality and integrity, work independently, inform appropriately among multiple priorities. This role will collaborate with internal and external teams that include both functional and technical resources.

Some of your key responsibilities include:  

  • Provide production support to HR COEs and other business owners in the firm related to Workday and other HR applications.

  • Understand the importance of continuous improvement and innovation initiatives and collaborate with HR COEs and suggest areas for improvement

  • Partner with business clients to gather and document business requirement

  • Partner with HRBT colleagues in design, testing and support of Workday Configuration

  • Configure changes in Workday based on business requirements and perform testing activities; document test scenarios, create test scripts. 

  • Maintain Workday Core Configuration/ table maintenance (i.e., Locations, company/pay groups, membership rules, custom organizations, cost centers, etc.).

  • Configure Workday for enhancements, address defects, and new functionality (i.e., Time Off Rule, Time Off Plans, Business Process Config/Policy, Alerts etc.)

  • Perform mass data loads in Workday (EIBs), and provide support for cyclical events, as directed.

Desired qualifications:

  • 3+ years relevant experience with HRIS systems as Workday, knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel – must be comfortable with v-lookups and pivot tables.

  • Experience with requirements documentation

  • Strong analytical, organizational, detailed oriented, and problem-solving skills

  • Agile learner: desire to learn new skills, self-sufficient in seeking out colleague support
