Brown Brothers Harriman is currently recruiting for a Senior Human Resources Business Partner to join our Global Human Resources Team.  In this role you will report to the Head of HR, Europe and have management responsibility for one direct employee, while also having indirect responsibility for several others.  In this role you will be the lead Human Resources professional in our Dublin office, while also having responsibility for providing HRBP support to Global / Regional Lines Of Business. You will be responsible for driving strategic HR initiatives and partnering with business line leaders and Human Resources to construct and deliver cutting edge solutions in areas of organizational and managerial effectiveness and talent acquisition and development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day to day HR administration for the Dublin office and ensure administrative efficiencies and process improvements are realized 

  • Prepare and deliver monthly updates to the Senior Management Committees and quarterly updates for the Boards of each entity

  • Contribute to the broader BBH EMEA and global HR teams, working beyond a regional remit

  • Be known as a crisp communicator in person and in writing, who sets data-driven HR goals based on business drivers and ensures HR is always looking for underlying people issues to help solve business challenges

  • Provide input on the HR implications of strategic and operational decisions and plans, partnering with the business on organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, and skills assessment

  • Liaise with the talent acquisition teams to attract, hire and retain the right candidates, and identify opportunities to rotate and develop internal talent

  • Drive compensation and benefits strategies in partnership with the compensation & benefits teams across the organisation, and proactively identify challenges and opportunities within your client groups

  • This role requires strong judgement, the ability to think strategically, execute tactically and collaborate across many teams, levels and locations around the world.

As the Successful Candidate You Have

  • A true hands-on approach as well as the ability to successfully monitor the “pulse” of the team, to ensure a high level of employee engagement

  • Experience in a rapid and complex changing work environment with a controls mindset

  • Coaching experience at management level, as well as exceptional influencing skills at all levels

  • Comfortable working in a highly matrixed and global organisation

  • Success in creating and driving effective inclusion, development, employee relations, retention and reward programs

  • Proven knowledge and practical application of Ireland HR practices

  • Ability to use data driven analysis to identify problems and build solutions

  • Strong Project/Program Management Skills

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience of operating at a senior HR level with demonstrated success in meeting exceptionally high standards in a fast-paced, hands-on environment

Additional Qualifications

  • 10 years + HR experience

  • Experience with Workday

  • Demonstrated ability to understand business goals and recommend new approaches, strategies and initiatives to effect continual improvements in business objectives, productivity and development of Commercial HR within the company

  • Experience in collaborating across multiple functions and as part of a global HR team
