We are looking for an HR Generalist to provide functional and strategic support for Boateka and to be a key contributor of shaping a positive culture as the business grows.  We are in the process of building an exciting new location in Merritt Island Florida as a stand-alone direct to consumer experience.  The role will be primarily located in Merritt Island with an opportunity to work remotely depending on business demand and broader employee engagement requirements. This role provides the opportunity to work on a variety of HR responsibilities including employee relations, HRIS data management, policy and program administration, reporting and analysis, positive culture creation and process improvement.

 

Job Responsibilities:

·       Provides excellent customer service skills while answering employee requests and questions

·       Assists in developing opportunities to drive strong employee engagement

·       Partners effectively with HR specialist groups such as Payroll, Compensation and Benefits and Talent Acquisition

·       Coordinates all aspects of the onboarding process

·       Counsels employees and managers regarding change, conflict management and performance issues and recommends disciplinary action, when necessary

·       Conducts audits of payroll, benefits and other HR programs, as needed

·       Supports HR initiatives such as compensation planning, talent review and benefits open enrollment

·       Works with business leaders to foster a positive company culture

·       Pulls reports and provides analytics related to people metrics

·       Executes changes within Workday, the HRIS system

·       Participates in the creation and maintenance of HR forms, documents and employee files

·       Coordinate with HR counterparts across the enterprise to ensure alignment and completion of activities.

·       Limited travel (5% – 10%), depending on broader Boateka expansion.

Requirements:

·       Associates Degree in human resources or related field

·       1-3 years of relevant HR experience

·       Experience supporting an hourly workforce is preferred

·       Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills

·       High attention to detail and the ability to balance multiple tasks simultaneously

·       Working understanding of human resources principles, practices and procedures

·       Must handle confidential and sensitive material appropriately and with discretion

·       Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

·       Workday experience a plus
