Come join a dynamic HRIS team to support Workday and HR Applications. You will work as a partner to the HR team.  This position provides a wonderful opportunity to learn and grow in the role with complete exposure to Projects, Workday Updates, Enhancements and Support activities.

The ideal candidate would have experience supporting the HR systems, primarily Workday in partnership with HR, I.T. and other cross functional groups

This role reports to the HRIS Director.

Role: Sr HRIS Analyst – Workday

Location: San Jose, CA

Must Haves:

  • Experience identifying, researching, and prototyping new functionalities and practices including feature review, impact analysis, regression testing, education, and updates to training materials
  • Proficiency with creating and troubleshooting complex Workday calculated fields, Business Processes, and analytics
  • Proficiency with EIB preparation and loads

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to ongoing maintenance, upgrades, and development of Workday
  • Manage business processes
  • Support the key HR activities that occur throughout the year e.g. Performance and Compensation Events
  • Create and maintain custom reports in Workday
  • Manage large and small projects: interpret business (internal customer) requests, create specs/documentation, partner with IT when applicable on configuration and design, lead testing, and work with internal customers to drive projects to completion
  • Prepare materials for, and conduct presentations around system enhancements
  • Liaise with Workday Customer support: manage escalated issues, submit tickets, research in Workday Community
  • Accomplish special projects as assigned
  • Knowledge of Workhuman (formerly Globoforce) and Docebo learning management system a plus

  • Experience with deep system testing, troubleshooting, UAT, and running UAT sessions
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or Human Resources related field preferred
  • 5-7 years of directly-related experience working in a large, publicly-traded, multi-national software company
  • Experience with Workday Compensation (Core and Advanced), Talent, Recruiting; Reporting, Time, Absence, Benefits, expert knowledge of one or more preferred
  • Intermediate-to-advanced Excel, Systems, and PowerPoint skills
  • Experience with SharePoint Administration or Visier a plus
