Position & Requirements Summary:

We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team. Our Human Resources team is stewards of CAE’s greatest strategic asset: Our People. The focus is to acquire and onboard talent. The position reports directly to the Director of Human Resources.

This is a full-time, remote, permanent role.

Responsibilities:

  • Foster consultative relationships with hiring managers to understand and help define hiring needs, provide guidance through the recruitment process and influence hiring managers’ and line leaders’ strategic talent decisions.

  • Own the full-life cycle recruiting process for a range of positions associated with the client groups.

  • Help hiring managers prioritize position requirements to maximize quality of hire and minimize time to fill.

  • Design and implement search strategies to identify qualified candidates.

  • Conduct thorough interviews to identify the functional and behavioral skills for current openings.

  • Establish and maintain relationships with candidates with the goal of building a network.

  • Partner with hiring manager to create onboarding plan. Execute onboarding plan to new hire and schedule new hire meetings.

  • Review the recruitment process and work collaboratively with other stakeholders to continuously enhance it with the candidate experience in mind.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, management or a business discipline.

  • 6 years experience in the Human Resources field including 4 years minimum in recruitment.

  • Proficient in Workday HRIS, MS Office, Social Media Recruitment (i.e. LinkedIn), resume screening and interviewing.

  • Proficient in various sourcing methods including cold calling candidates to generate interest.

  • Organized, self-disciplined, work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.

  • Result Driven and proficient at managing priorities.

  • Ability to drive talent acquisition initiatives.

Preferred:

  • Possess SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential.

  • Preference will be offered for candidates who possess experience of working successfully within the Human Resources department of CAE.

General:

  • Complies with and enforces all applicable safety rules, regulations and procedures both at CAE Healthcare and wherever CAE Healthcare is represented.

  • Performs all duties in compliance with and enforces all applicable legal and ethical standards including CAE’s Code of Business Conduct, CAE’s policies and procedures, country laws and regulations, Federal and States or Provincial Laws, policies and standards.

  • Maintains security of all proprietary information.

  • Performs other duties as assigned or as necessity dictates.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.

Work Environment:

This job operates in a professional environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers and smartphones.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Hours might vary depending of the departmental requirements.

Experience: Mid to Senior- level
