Job Overview
As a Workday Project Manager, you will assist our delivery team in evolving our Workday ecosystem to support our financial and human capital enterprise management tools and resources. Product is delivered in a fast-paced and iterative development process. Our team’s services assist our enterprise to effectively leverage Workday in streamlining day-to-day business operations, accelerating strategic planning, and maintaining the integrity and security of corporate data.
Job Responsibilities

Project management oversight for any piece or the entirety of the software delivery lifecycle, including: gathering requirements, generating designs, providing estimates, implementation, testing, release, and hypercare.

Maintaining the business perspective in understanding and affecting how systems are implemented to satisfy user goals.

Ensuring developed systems adhere to a high standard of quality.

Working on multiple projects at one time with balancing needs and deadlines.

Keeping informed on ecosystem technical advancements and capable of proposing changes.
Job Requirements
-
7+ years of project management experience.
-
Strong enterprise project management experience in IT, Finance, and HR focused on managing a full spectrum of small to large-scale Workday related efforts.

Practiced in project intake and coordinating prioritization, scoping, and backlog management operations.

Expert in developing a detailed project implementation plan to monitor and track progress, and capable of adapting to change in project scope and schedule.

Competent in coordinating and tracking deliverables between Workday development team and other cross functional teams participating in a project.

Proficient at measuring project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.

Versed in managing deployments from sandbox to production through formal change management and release management procedures.

Experienced in creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation.

Skilled in coordination of bi-annual system upgrades.

Excellent interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills.

Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Business.
Preferred Skills and Abilities

10+ years of project management experience.

Experienced in gathering requirements from users and proposing alternative designs.

Experienced in working with business stakeholders to diagnostically research and solve business process issues.

Experienced in creation of documentation to support knowledge transfer and utilization of implemented solutions.

Workday Business Process configuration experience.

Workday implementation tools experience (EIB, Report Writer, BIRT, Studio, Core Connectors, Document Transformation).

Workday experience building and modifying custom reports, dashboards, and calculated fields.

PMP Certified.
-
Workday Pro Certified.

Master’s Degree or equivalent.
