The Senior Workday Analyst will work closely with the business and focus on developing successful solutions in our Advance Compensation module within Workday. Â They will understand functional requirements, influence decision making, and align configuration to appropriately business processes.Â
As our business rapidly changes, this analyst will quickly learn the CarMax environment and begin working to meet the needs of our business partners; providing exceptional customer service while also rapidly delivering and configuring solutions. This individual will be the go-to resource for the Workday platform capabilities specifically focused in the Advanced Compensation processes.
What you will do – Essential Responsibilities

Act as primary liaison between Compensation business partners and Workday platform capabilities

Configure and deploy Compensation processes in alignment with business priorities
-
Ensure Compensation business unit is kept abreast of new and/or changing functions within the Workday platform

Drive innovation with in the platform as it relates to Compensation and HCM
Qualifications and Requirements
-
4+ years of relevant Workday experience in at least two of the following areas:  HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, Talent or Recruiting. Advanced Comp preferred

Proficient in Workday report writing

Bachelor’s degree preferred

Advanced Compensation Certificate in Workday preferred

Strong ability to translate functional requirements into technical solutions

Experience working and developing in an Agile environment

Experience in the administration of enterprise wide HR Systems in a SaaS environment preferred

Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

Ability to drive for results in challenging conditions

Ability to build and maintain strong relationships throughout the organization, and collaborate with other departments and teams

Ability to determine customer specific needs and put forth actions to meet those needs

Work Location and Arrangement: This role will be based out of the Richmond, VA Technology Innovation Center or Dallas Technology Hub in Plano, TX and have a Hybrid work arrangementÂ
Work Authorization:Â Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.Â
