Associate Director, HR Technology Solutions Architect

About this role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced HR Solutions Architect to join our dynamic team. As a HR Solutions Architect, you will play a critical role in defining the strategy, designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and innovative Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions that include Workday, ServiceNow and other related HR technologies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, provide expert guidance, and contribute to the success of our organization's HR technology initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support solution architecture for HCM implementation projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budget, and quality standards.

  • Lead software/vendor selection on HR products in collaboration with HR COEs and the various business units globally.

  • Architect and design Workday and other augmented HCM point solutions based on business requirements, industry best practices, and system capabilities.

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, including HR leaders, business process owners, and IT teams, to gather requirements, define system specifications, and recommend effective solutions.

  • Provide expert guidance to the project teams on system configuration, integration, and customization to meet complex business needs with Workday and other integrated platforms including ServiceNow, external vendor systems.

  • Drive the adoption of the HCM products supported by researching innovative technical trends and developments within the Workday landscape and other related HCM technologies.

  • Develop and maintain system documentation, including functional and technical specifications, process flows, and data models.

  • Lead and facilitate training sessions for end users, providing guidance on system functionality and best practices.

  • Identify and address system performance issues, data integrity concerns, and security vulnerabilities, working closely with IT teams to implement appropriate resolutions.

  • Participates in developing solution strategies and roadmaps within a specific domain.

  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, fostering their professional growth and development.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 5+ years of experience with Workday HCM Solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of proven experience as a Workday HCM Solutions Architect or similar role, with a strong understanding of Workday HCM modules and functionalities.

  • Relevant certifications in Workday HCM are highly desirable.

  • In-depth understanding of HR business processes and best practices, with the ability to translate requirements into scalable and efficient system solutions.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and deliver results within tight deadlines.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and present complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Proactive and self-motivated, with a passion for staying updated on the latest HR technology trends and innovations.

  • Experience with system integrations, including web services, EIBs, and other integration tools.

  • Experience in data migration and data conversion from legacy systems to Workday HCM.

  • Familiarity with security concepts and best practices related to Workday HCM.
