Reporting to the Director, Global Compensation Strategy and Governance, this role is responsible for designing, implementing and administering compensation programs globally, including job architecture, market intelligence, the annual merit cycle and incentive plans.

Do you have 5-7+ years’ of compensation experience, including base pay management, incentive pay management, and administering global programs/processes?

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Provide consultative expertise in compensation program design and strategy decisions across a diverse group of businesses, industries and go to market strategies.  Collaborate with HR stakeholders to ensure efficient use of funds to support the company’s pay for performance philosophy.  Perform analysis and modeling to support recommendations, and drive consensus within the organization. 

  • Support the global Total Rewards COE teams on reviews and initiatives. Using benchmarking resources, review, interpret and report out key trends and market insights.

  • Manage market intelligence projects and processes, ensuring programs are delivered timely.

  • Support the design and execution of annual merit cycle globally.  Identify process improvements and establish strong process governance to ensure strategic allocation of rewards. 

  • Contribute to the ongoing optimization of Workday core compensation and advanced compensation.

  • Consistently gather customer feedback and review Communities of Expertise (COE) Compensation processes to improve, automate and augment the quality, accuracy and value of the services and information provided.

  • Ensure robust governance of across compensation programs.  Proactively, inventory, assess and make recommendations on governance practices. 

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations through the proactive review, audit and analysis of pay programs across the region.  Identify potential problems and provide recommendations to proactively address potential issues.

Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree.

  • Minimum 5 years compensation experience.

Preferred:

  • Master’s Degree

  • Demonstrated competence in the management of base pay and incentive pay.

  • Experience applying compensation expertise and influencing senior customers across diverse businesses, industries, locations and demographics.

  • Excellent analytical and organization skills.

  • Proven ability to make informed, data-driven decisions.

  • Demonstrated ability to interface across all levels of the organization including executive leadership.

  • Strong project management skills.

  • Ability to lead change management activities.

  • Expertise with Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Experience with Workday, MarketPay, Mercer’s ePrism, and International Position Evaluation (IPE) systems or comparable systems.

  • CCP, GRP, SPHR, GPHR or other HR professional certification.
