Position Summary

The Executive Sourcer develops and implements strategies to source qualified, diverse candidates to meet position requirements from internal, external, and referral candidate pools.

The purpose of the role is to partner with the Global Executive Recruiting Team by providing qualified candidates for key leadership positions at the Director, Senior Director, General Manager, Vice President and C-level in the agreed timelines and proactively building a strong pipeline of candidates for future openings.

The Role

Writing and implementing effective research strategies to source diverse candidates on each requisition.

Identifying all candidates suitable for the requisitions through networking, utilizing online databases, social media, contact lists, internal Applicant Tracking Systems (Workday), and employee referrals.

Using all possible means to engage those candidates quickly and ensuring up to date resumes/CV’s are received from potential candidates.

Conducting effective screening and ensuring key information is collected in the first conversation.

Maintaining accurate and detailed candidate records on Workday.

Provide strategic input on best sourcing channels. 

The Candidate

  • Minimum of 2 years of recruiting and/or sourcing experience in executive search (agency or corporate) is required. 
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Strong internet research skills and cold-calling experience is required.
  • Must have a demonstrated ability to create and drive efficient and effective candidate generation strategies far beyond traditional recruitment mechanisms, e.g. strong acumen utilizing “Boolean.”
  • Ability to pivot and tailor sourcing methodologies across an array of roles and functions spanning corporate, quality, manufacturing, scientific, operations, commercial, etc., at the Executive Level.
  • Commitment and focus on providing diverse candidates for every role is required.
  • Experience managing an Applicant Tracking Systems is preferred.  Experience with Workday is a plus.
  • Experience using a CRM (Candidate Relationship Manager) is a plus
  • Pharmaceutical and/or Biotechnology recruiting/sourcing experience is preferred.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to follow a process and deliver on time is required.
  • Results orientated with the tenacity to deliver great results quickly is required.
