Senior, Early Talent Programs Specialist

Position Summary:   

The Early Talent Team is responsible for managing our Early Talent pipeline and ensuring we place the right people in the right position, helping us drive results and grow our business.  Our team builds and leverages strong relationships with key schools and attracts talent best suited for careers at Catalent.  The function is constantly evolving based on Catalent’s business strategy and the team will provide the flexibility of defining new talent program strategies to be executed across US.

As the Senior, Early Talent Programs Specialist, you will help us in driving change, push forward our mission of embracing creativity, and engage in projects that support Talent Acquisition and Catalent’s mission of supplying hundreds of life-enhancing medicines to patients globally. The ideal Senior, Early Talent Programs Specialist candidate has a passion for developing early talent and proven experience leading projects and processes using a data-based approach.  This position reports to the Early Talent Programs Manager.

Location: Remote (must be within 50 miles of any North American Catalent site)

The Role:  

  • Support the end-to-end program management of our Early Talent Internship and Co-op Programs.  This includes and is not limited to, program strategy and assessment, candidate or student experience, internal engagement (i.e., mentorship), and program infrastructure.

  • Collaborate with Early Talent Team to create, deliver, and execute innovative recruitment programming to attract, retain, and develop underrepresented students to Catalent

  • Build and deepen relationships with target universities and technical schools (including placement offices, faculty, administration, and students) on a regional and national level

  • Plan and coordinate a variety of events including presentations, networking events, and training/educational sessions.

  • Assist with data collection and analysis to illustrate program progress, needs, and wins.

  • Represent Catalent at university events, workshops and information sessions

  • requires openness to travel (domestically), especially during the fall recruitment period

  • Other duties as assigned

The Candidate:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management or related field is preferred

  • 3+ years of experience in HR, Early Talent or University Recruiting Programs.

  • A strong written and verbal communicator that enjoys creating and facilitating presentations, webinars, and additional experiential touchpoints with emerging talent

  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously and maintain strong attention to detail.

  • Skilled at driving measurable programs and initiatives with clear participant outcomes

  • High Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and TEAMS; Strong working knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems and CRMs; Experience with Workday is preferred

  • Pharmaceutical and/or Biotechnology recruiting experience is preferred
