Job Location:
CLHC – Corporate Office (Bronx NY)


This position will oversee the Workday system optimization, implementation of new modules, testing, configuration, and building custom reports and analytics. This role will act as a resource for the team to help everyone utilize the system more effectively and function as an expert for all our transactions and processes. This individual will act as a liaison with Workday customer support for new projects and troubleshooting as required. In addition, this position will assist the Financial Planning and Analysis team in the data analysis for quarterly forecast and annual budgeting process.


· Establish best practices for Workday controls and system security.

· Ensure tables, charts of accounts, and reporting trees are up to date and properly maintained.

· Maintenance of user access and security, i.e., create a new user profile, remove/add user access

· Build custom reporting in Workday and Tableau.

· Work with the team to establish interfaces to the general ledger.

· Analyze and troubleshoot Workday related issues through root-cause analysis and resolve

· Work with Accounting team leaders to implement proper combo edit rules

· Perform ongoing reconciliations and audits of data to ensure data integrity.

· Audit, create, and support mass EIB loads into Workday

· Review, test, and implementation of bi-annual Workday releases

· Create detailed testing documentation and training materials

· Collaborate with IT and HR as required 

· Respond to internal and external auditor inquiries in a timely manner and provide supporting documentation as needed.

· Perform ad-hoc analysis and other related duties as assigned.


Education:     Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems or Accounting/Finance related


  • Advanced knowledge of financial system maintenance and report writing preferred, including a vast understanding of all data sources and primary business objects required to support integrations.
  • Experience in financial system administrator, i.e., Workday, Oracle Financial, Lawson.
  • At least 2 – 3 years of hands-on experience in financial software implementation and or maintenance
  • Systems analysis, design, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong experience with general ledger and other financial modules, i.e., payroll, accounts payable, procurement, etc.
  • Experience with report development in Tableau preferred
  • Insurance and or health care experience preferred
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Highly motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks

License/Registration: Not required, but specialized application training is a plus
