Job Summary:
The HR Operations Specialist II is an intermediate-level professional position which is accountable for supporting the Corporate Human Resources department on a broad range of human resources administration and HR governance processes for the enterprise. This includes the accurate and timely processing of employee transactions in Workday, organizing and monitoring employment law / regulatory and HR policy and business process reviews, as well as vendor management administration and reporting.
Job Description:
Workday Transactions
- Follows standard operating procedures and HR policies to complete the timely and accurate entry of transactions in Workday. This includes entries for new hires, promotions, job / pay changes, and terminations for employees in the Corporate offices.
- Provides support and assistance to management and other HR team members for completing various employee life-cycle transactions in Workday.
- Regularly participates in and contributes to process improvement activities and HRIT / Workday configuration changes.
- Contributes to the development of business requirements for Workday configuration changes. Assists with the development and execution of change management plans.
- Participates in User Acceptance Testing for system configuration changes as requested. Follows test scripts and documents system behavior.
HR Governance
- Coordinates the annual review of HR policies and business processes in coordination with HR functional leaders. Edits HR policies and business processes as requested and ensures proper version control and authority matrix are being followed.
- Scans and reviews employment law / regulatory updates to identify possible impacts to CF HR policies and processes. Participates in the impact analysis and summary reporting for the HR Leadership Team.
- Coordinate with Internal Audit regarding audit schedules and data gathering requirements and serves as the focal point with HR functional areas
Other
- Assists with the ongoing administration of the Unemployment Insurance process. Ensures that claim responses are completed accurately and on-time.

Incumbent Attributes:
- BA/BS degree in business, or its equivalent is required
- 2 – 4 years of experience in a corporate human resources administration role is required
- Workday experience required to complete transaction processing as well as participate in configuration changes is required.
- Excellent organizational skills to be able to maintain repository of HR policies and ongoing administration of HR Operations
- Working knowledge of HR policy development to be able to coordinate the annual review with functional leaders
- Basic skills with Workiva software to be able to update and draft process mapping documentation
- Demonstrated experience apply business process mapping and change management tools and principles to effectively contribute to HR transaction processing improvement efforts.
- Attention to detail to accurately process transactions in accordance with policies and procedures
- Expert-level skills in using Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) is required for producing reports and presentations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required to interact effectively with employees and management at all levels
The estimated base pay for the position is typically between $60,300 – $79,500.
The actual base pay for the position may be influenced by factors such as education, training, skills, qualifications, competencies, years of experience, job-related knowledge, and scope of the role, and could be outside of the posted pay range.
