Join our first-in-class HR Service Center where you will provide support and service to our employees and managers regarding general HR-related inquiries received by phone, email and chat while escalating as needed.  You will also support internal predefined HR processes including, but not limited to, employee onboarding, data integrity, benefits, payroll, personnel files, absence, and performance management.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides general HR support to employees and managers by applying broad knowledge of HR concepts, systems, procedures, and advanced understanding of department fundamentals.

  • Provides support with payroll including inquiries, auditing, and taxation assistance

  • Execute predefined processes from detailed written or verbal instructions and apply knowledge of the process for follow-up and troubleshooting.

  • Suggests improvements and provides updates to process documentation as directed by the functional process owner or their supervisor for the HR Service Center Team.

  • Interact and troubleshoot with external customers and vendors

  • Provide escalated HR system support and works closely product owner(s) to improve systems, test new offerings and implement changes to systems.

  • Receives limited supervision and is responsible to work semi-independently with predefined escalation points; show leadership by providing guidance and training to peers

Required Qualifications:  

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent

  • Studying towards or obtained bachelor’s degree in HR-related field

  • Minimum 3 years of related work experience in Human Resources

Preferred Qualifications:                                                         

  • Experience supporting a centralized HR contact center function

  • Experience with payroll support and payroll related tasks including interpreting tax laws

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills

  • Advanced problem-solving skills

  • Demonstrated time management and multitasking skills

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

  • Demonstrated ability to work with data, ensuring accuracy

  • Experience with Workday
