ChenMed is looking for an Human Resource (HR) Analyst to grow our talent compliance function within our Talent Management team. The Human Resource (HR) Analyst will provide ChenMed with company compliance across the Talent Management and Talent Acquisition functions and ensure ChenMed adheres to required federal, state, and local employment rules/regulations. This position will partner with other HR functional teams, HR professionals, Information Technology, Legal, and third-party vendors to monitor compliance policies/programs and share best practices.

About the Team

This newly created role reports to the Manager, Talent Analytics and Reporting. You will work with a small but talented team as you build out ChenMed’s talent compliance program.

The Human Resource (HR) Analyst will collect, compile, and analyze HR data, metrics, and statistics, and apply this data to make recommendations related to recruitment, retention, diversity, and legal compliance.


  • Collects and compiles HR metrics and data from a variety of sources including the human resource information system (Workday), management and employee surveys, exit interviews, employment records, government labor statistics, and other sources.

  • Analyzes data and statistics to identify trends and patterns with attention to recruitment, hiring practices, motivation, turnover, and compliance with employment laws and regulations.

  • Prepares reports of data results, presenting and explaining findings to senior leadership.

  • Identifies and recommends reasonable short- and long-term goals, milestones, and benchmarks for key performance metrics.

  • Based on metrics and analysis, makes recommendations for policies and activities to improve the organizational culture including suggestions to attract and hire qualified candidates, to motivate and retain employees, to address staffing issues, and to maintain legal compliance.

  • Monitor and report on new-hire training adherence, employee development and mobility, recruiting, and other related initiatives.

  • Conduct audits to ensure that talent policies are adhered to and compliant with applicable laws.

  • Ensures compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices.

  • Perform risk assessments and make recommendations to senior leadership on the results.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical mind and problem-solving skills (must be able to identify trends that are unfavorable)
  • Thorough understanding of local, state, and federal laws involving employment, HR, and HR policies.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Excel).
  • Proficient with Workday Experience working in cross-functional collaborative roles.
