The Senior Workday HRIS Administrator is a corporate level technology-focused position in a fast paced environment. The Senior HRIS Administrator will be responsible for the integrity of all data in the system and provide solutions to everyday HRIS issues, manage projects and design solutions. The Senior HRIS Administrator is the gatekeeper of all the information in the system for the entire organization.

PRIMARY DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensure the accuracy and integrity of business processes and organizational data in Workday.

Analyze and document business processes and develop new and enhanced workflows within Workday HCM System. These activities will extend to all functional areas that include Core HCM, Absence, Time Tracking, Benefits, Advanced Compensation, Talent Management, Recruiting.

Provide end-user troubleshooting, issue remediation, technology request assistance and escalation management, using ticketing and/or tracking systems. Monitor recurring issues, identify gaps within the system in terms of data and business processes, locate potential sources of the gaps and propose processes for increased efficiency and throughput.

Recommend system changes to optimize, present to stakeholders, get required approvals, translate business needs into actionable technical projects and lead small to medium size projects.

Prepare test plans and test cases, and perform unit testing, end-to-end testing, regression testing, parallel testing, and user acceptance testing.

Communicate effectively and manage Workday project stakeholders across multiple levels of the organization by building strong collaborative relationships.

Support Workday technology upgrades: assess impact of new Workday features, coordinate rollout with project teams and business leaders, as needed.

Identify, track, and provide resolution on issues and defects within Workday, potentially with the use of ticketing systems such as ServiceNow.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Knowledge of human resource information systems (HRIS).

5  years demonstrated HRIS & Workday experience required. 

Advanced Workday skills in multiple Workday modules (Time & Attendance, Recruiting, Benefits, Compensation, Advance Compensation, Talent, HCM).

Strong Report writing and calculated fields experience.

Ability to evaluate, validate and manipulate a large volume of data.

Strong task management skills and organizational skills required.

Knowledge of database maintenance concepts and skills required.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint).

High school Diploma or equivalent.

Workday  certification preferred.

EDUCATION / SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:

High School Diploma or equivalent required. 

Associates or Bachelors degree preferred.

Workday  certification preferred.
