The Role

The AVP, Recruitment Manager will play a key role in partnering with leaders throughout the business to attract top talent. This role provides primary talent acquisition support to all Christie’s offices in the Americas. This person will focus on developing and coordinating the strategy in the US to on-board talented people who embrace Christie’s culture and values at all levels of the organization. 

This role serves as the lead recruiter, managing a diverse pipeline of candidates and actively managing a high volume of individual requisitions. This includes designing and executing young talent programs, including annual internship and graduate trainee programs. It is imperative that this individual be highly adaptable and able to manage a high volume of operational work without sacrificing quality, timeliness, or the candidate experience. This role is ideal for a customer focused and process-oriented individual who can work to deadlines.

Specific duties & responsibilities will include but are not limited to

  • Lead the full cycle recruitment of permanent, temporary & internship positions across all functional areas

  • Provide exceptional client service to candidates and hiring managers

  • Own the negotiation process with final stage candidates, from offer to acceptance

  • Manage the US recruitment budget

  • Ability to create and implement diversity recruitment strategies through partnerships with non-profit organizations and universities

  • Serve as the point of contact for candidates, recruiters, hiring managers and external agencies for scheduling interviews via HireVue, in-person and virtually, including managing associated logistics communications. 

  • Shortlist and create relevant candidate packs for hiring managers/teams

  • Conduct on-demand video interviews; formulating questions and reviewing interviews

  • Facilitate interview feedback collection and distribution while maintaining discretion

  • Design, execute, and manage all internship, graduate training, or similar programs in the Americas with support from Americas HR team

  • Create intern training and event calendars, orientation packets and internal/external communications

  • Plan and implement quarterly referral program “Informational Sessions”

  • Responsible for all responses to speculative recruitment inquiries and employee referral interviews, tracking, and follow-up 

The Candidate

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or Communications preferred or equivalent work experience

  • A minimum of at least 5 years previous work experience with a focus in HR, recruitment, or talent acquisition

  • Excellent administrative and organizational skills, including strong attention to detail

  • Strong project management prowess

  • Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills, with a capacity to manage high level stakeholder relationships

  • Ability to negotiate at a multitude of acquisition levels as well as with vendor contracts

  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems; Workday Recruiting strongly preferred 

  • Previous exposure to on demand video interviewing software, ideally HireVue

  • Superior client service skills

  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize.

  • Willingness to design and manage entry level program management for interns, graduate trainees, and other similar programs
