What you'll be doing

As a Senior Manager, CIBC and Me Portal, you will lead the CIBC and Me portal team, overseeing the day to day maintenance of our HR employee site while partnering with stakeholders across PC&B to launch digital and engagement solutions for HR strategic and operational initiatives. You will also focus on developing and mentoring team members, fostering a collaborative environment, and promoting effective communication across the organization.

At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote. Details on your work arrangement (proportion of on-site and remote work) will be discussed at the time of your interview.

How you’ll succeed

  • Communications – Write clear, concise and technical internal communications to subsets of the employee population. Maintain regulatory compliance and consistency across all communication materials. Strong written communications skills enable clear and concise expression of ideas, ensuring that messages are easily understood and actionable and strong verbal communication skills facilitate engaging discussions, promote active listening, and encourage open dialogue among team members and stakeholders.
  • User experience – Continuously seek out opportunities for enhancement from an employee and user experience perspective.
  • Relationship management and collaboration –Manage partner relationships that are key to the success of the team and the evolution of the portal. Collaborate with stakeholders across HR to deliver accurate and timely information to employees.
  • Critical thinking – Apply critical thinking, creativity and sound judgement to determine the best possible outcomes by utilizing data to support strategic decision making. Leverage data to fully understand the risks and benefits and to guide or reach productive decisions. Openly and frequently share your knowledge, ideas and views because you know your perspective matters.
  • Process improvement – Consistently look for ways to radically simplify processes with a focus on leveraging Workday data to  improve employee and partner experiences. Support data surrounding proposals and recommendations for senior management review and approval.
