This is a demanding position in a complex and dynamic financial services environment.
In view of the growth strategy of Cigna KSA, the position holder will be responsible for developing and managing the entire HR spectrum, by building and executing the people strategy that supports the overall business results.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting business throughout and across the employee lifecycle, including employee relations; policy development, coordinating and facilitating payroll & benefits, and other colleague support initiatives; and in providing local support, delivery, and execution of HR responsibilities while we are building the team in KSA.
Specific responsibilities of the role include:

Understand business and functional priorities thoroughly and translate them into the design and development of a business-enabling people agenda

Responsible for the effective delivery of the full spectrum of People strategy, both strategic and operation levels, including talent acquisition, retention, performance management, compensation & benefits, talent management and learning & development.

Manage talent review, development, and succession planning in consultation with the business.

Overseeing accurate and timely administration and delivery of operational tasks, which includes but is not limited to payroll, personnel file maintenance, Employee Transactions & Workday data entry, auditing, compliance, and providing data for financial controllers.

Ensuring coordination, quality upkeep and maintenance of Personal Files, HRIS Data, employment letters and documentation, employee notifications and transactions

Overseeing/ supporting internal and external audits.

Managing all approval processes for the regions in accordance with the approvals matrix and invoicing policies

Driving efficiencies and improvements operational matters from both cost and delivery perspective

Oversight of collaboration between HR ops team and the Mobility Team for local HR support of transfers, work authorization and business visa processes

Oversight of HR operations involvement in the local support of entry level and experienced hire recruitment, working closely with the regional recruitment team to coordinate and deliver on a seamless process form an operational and onboarding perspective

Contributing to and supporting operational aspects and impacts of core curriculum and targeted Learning & Development activities at a local office, regional and international market roll-out level

Providing thought leadership on regional HR Operations needs and strategies, working with Regional Head, Director of Talent, TA Lead, Comp&Ben and other relevant leaders to design approaches, and oversee the successful implementation of initiatives

Working closely with Market, Office, and HR Leadership to contribute to the advancement of local office culture and engagement in line with Cigna values

Contributing to the MEA HR team and building regional HR engagement, including the ‘Way We Work’ hybrid methodology

Building credibility with all colleagues but particularly key business leaders through encouraging open dialogue and maintaining confidentiality.

Serving as a trusted advisor on employee relation matters to senior business leaders

Providing advice and counsel to all colleagues regarding employment law, policy and/or employee issues.

Performing and supporting employee investigations when required. Ensure enforcement of disciplinary procedures.

Ensuring employee termination and exit matters are handled in a professional and empathetic manner.

Fostering relationships with external counsel and how they are deployed across the regions

Leading and providing guidance to employees and managers on issues relating to performance, fairness, and culture

Managing ER risk, address cases/issues/exceptions, and leading regional policy compliance agenda

Ensuring regional HR team is kept to date with current and new legislation across the region working with the Legal Team as needed to ensure compliance to local labor requirements

Working closely with regional HR team to update and amend policy & procedures in line with new and revised local legislation and directives, including being a trusted advisor to the local business for all employment related matters.

Ensuring uniform and equitable application of policies and procedures.
Experience required:
-
Degree holder with minimum 10+ years’ work experience in a Human Resources-related role (Human Capital Operations management and generalist HR background; other HR functional specialties highly considered)

Industry experience, financial services or multi-national corporate firm background and being familiar with fast-paced environment will be an advantage.

Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) is required, experience of Workday is highly advantageous

Excellent English language skills,

Ability to influence with authority across stakeholder groups, with advanced executive presence.

Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to interact with C-suite; Board; Investors; and Outside regulators.

Results driven, quick leaner and ability to establish credibility with varied audiences.

Ability to lead in a large matrix team in a global environment.
