The global HR team has defined an ambitious strategy for the years to come. Supporting this, is the team owning the Compensation & Benefits processes in Europe. Despite being industry leading in some areas of HR, we are only in the very early stages of an exciting and ambitious development journey globally. The role will report to Senior Manager – Compensation & Benefits Europe, based in Oslo, Norway. In this role, you will have close communication and cooperation with HR Network in Europe and our Payroll and HR Administration teams in the Business Shared Services

Responsibilities

  • Administer compensation surveys by liaising with internal teams and providing company data. Researches, evaluates, and recommends survey sources for appropriate coverage

  • Analyze market pay ranges for new and existing jobs and formulates recommendations to HR Business Partners

  • Help maintain the company’s internal job structures (salary ranges, external benchmarks, job codes, grade levels, titling)

  • Partner with HR Business Partners/Recruiters to advise on pay strategies (initial offers, retention, internal equity, market competitiveness) and provides consultation and training on compensation policies, practices, and guidelines                                                        

  • Assist with the company’s annual compensation planning cycle for merit, bonus and equity through system preparation, testing, training, communications, and analytical support

  • Identify and recommend improvements and efficiencies around compensation programs, processes, reporting and support initiatives

  • Help to create and update Compensation dashboard & reports in liaison with HR analytics team.

  • Participate/Contribute in Global projects related to Compensation & cross functional projects

Requirements

  • Experience in a similar role with 3 years relevant experience from a multinational organization

  • Good understanding of market data and grading/job evaluation methodologies, preferably with Mercer IPE methodology

  • Experience of using salary surveys – submitting data extracting and analysing data.

  • Some experience or knowledge in sales comp and incentives programs is preferred but not requirement.

  • Analytical and structured and know your way around excel and is comfortable handling large data quantities

  • Good system and process knowledge understanding – knowledge of Workday is an advantage

  • Global mindset and Strong collaborator with a One Team spirit

  • Desire to expand skillset outside of Compensation function and into broader Total Rewards.

  • Higher relevant education/university degree and fluency in English
