Technician, Human Resources

Department: Human Resources

Location: Laval, QC

Type: Temporary (1 year contract), Full Time  

Hybrid mode: 3 days in the office and 2 days remotely

WHAT YOU’LL DO 

Here are just a few ways that you’ll help make journeys better:  

Recruitment

  • Plan integrations and conduct HR on-boarding for new employees;

  • Review and translate job posting and post on various platforms (internal HRIS, Indeed, LinkedIn, other);

  • Screen received resumes and forward to the hiring manager or the recruiter;

  • Conduct phone screenings for certain entry level positions;

  • Coordinate the recruitment process for call center positions;

  • Act as a liaison with external recruiting firms for call center positions;

  • Support recruitment activity planification (job fairs, kiosks, recruitment events);

  • Participate in various projects related to talent attraction, including the development of the employer brand, the candidate experience and the organization’s visibility;

  • Find and identify potential candidates using recruitment platforms (social networks, professional networks, job fairs, etc.);

  • All other related tasks.

Work Permits and SIN:

  • Follow up with managers to correct data errors impacting payroll processing;

  • Follow up on work permits and SINs to ensure that documents are up to date;

  • Make corrections and update information in the HR database (contact the right people when needed);

  • Assist former employees who need to access their payroll information, and their T4 and RL-1.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED 

We want you to join our team! Here’s what we’re looking for: 

Education:

  • DEC in administration or other relevant fields.

Experience:

  • Ideally one (1) year of relevant experience;

Knowledge and skills:

  • Be meticulous while having a good speed of execution;

  • Demonstrate a strong customer service orientation;

  • Ability to meet tight deadlines;

  • Ability to manage stress and priorities;

  • Demonstrate a high level of confidentiality in the handling of files;

  • Knowledge of Workday is an asset.

Language skills:

  • Bilingualism (French and English) essential; both oral and written.
