The Global Marketing Specialist is a seasoned professional role. Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and work-flow for the area or function. Integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area. Requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the function and overall business. Evaluates moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, where development of an approach/taking of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information. Requires good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required. Regularly assumes informal/formal leadership role within teams. Involved in coaching and training of new recruits Significant impact in terms of project size, geography, etc. by influencing decisions through advice, counsel and/or facilitating services to others in area of specialization. Work and performance of all teams in the area are directly affected by the performance of the individual.

Responsibilities:

  • Global Marketing is responsible for working across the regional teams (NA, APAC, LATAM, EMEA, Mexico, Japan). Together, we drive global alignment on marketing efforts across key priorities and increase impact, efficiency and effectiveness of the organization overall. The incumbent will be will be responsible for the development, management of key global programs as well as the day-to-day project tasks associated with them.
  • Work with the global marketing team and the regional heads of marketing and their teams to support the defined global marketing priorities
  • Design, develop and implement global marketing campaigns and programs (digital & traditional) to drive business impact; efficiently manage development process as well as proactively suggest and implement process improvements
  • Support global marketing plan efforts
  • Support management of agency relationship and creation of new agency models to drive increased efficiencies
  • Manage day to day paid advertising efforts on LinkedIn, Meta (Facebook & Instragram, Tiktok and YouTube
  • Manage quarterly global marketing scorecard and monthly global bullets
  • Manage global marketing budget (agency fee budget and production budget)
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
  • Deep Experience in coding emails for responsive design is required
  • Familiarity with dynamic personalization & audience segmentation
  • Up to date on latest HTML, CSS, and JavaScript techniques for use in a variety of custom marketing executions
  • Knowledge of CRM and campaign management
  • Depth of knowledge in Workday's technical architecture, Webservices, XML, Java and Workday studio
  • Experience with Talent Acquisition and Eightfold a plus
