Job Description
The Workday Procurement Senior Systems Analyst role requires an established change agent that drives collaborative processes through thoughtful analysis, foundational knowledge of Finance, advisory skills, and creative solutions that deliver a top-notch system experience. This role operates and enhances ERP applications supporting VillageMD’s Financial processes within Workday.
Duties and responsibilities
The primary duties and responsibilities of the Workday Procurement Senior Systems Analyst are:
- Sound Workday understanding that can be applied in high-level process conversations and in granular configuration discussions
- Consistently seeks and finds process or technical inefficiencies and openly advises the [area] team on possible enhancements
- Lead and advise functional teams on best practices, impacts, solutions, and work roadmap.
- Troubleshooting and resolving Financial systems (Workday, Adaptive, WSS (Workday Strategic Sourcing) production support issues timely and with exceptional customer service
- Continually analyzing, maintaining, configuring, and troubleshooting Financial Systems
- Developing, processing, and maintaining reports for Finance Administrators and Users
- Analyzing the business needs of stakeholders to recommend the appropriate application or design to address those needs
- Ensuring thorough documentation of requirements, conceptual design, and end-to-end processes
- Identifying and taking on opportunities to enhance the end-user experience
- Supporting Financial System upgrades, patches, testing, and other technical projects as assigned
- Load mass transactions through the use of EIBs
- Support day-to-day operations (including daily support through Workday case management for tier 1, 2, and 3 support items)
Qualifications
A candidate's qualifications will include:
- Five+ years of experience working with Workday Financial Systems – preferably in Healthcare
- Ability to collaborate with and advise functional stakeholders, end users, and leads on configurations and solutions within Workday Financial Systems
- Proven driver of projects during the design, build, implementation, and stabilization phases
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Systems, or Finance preferred – equivalent experience accepted
- Highly detail-oriented with excellent time management, prioritization, and organizational skills.
- Must exhibit initiative and passion for outstanding results
- Must demonstrate intellectual curiosity
- Flexible and adaptable nature to work in a continuously evolving environment
- Must be a team player and provide superior customer support.
- Business area knowledge with an understanding of Financial processes and data
- Thorough knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and informal communication skills.
Pay Range: Based on experience 100-115K max
