The Sr Compensation Analyst, US/Canada will join the Global Total Rewards Team reporting to the Director of Compensation, US/Canada.  The Sr Compensation Analyst will work collaboratively across the Total Rewards US/Canada team, Human Resources Business Partners, and operational business leaders to build, implement and maintain market-competitive compensation programs. This role will assist in leading a variety of projects, including job market reviews, annual compensation reviews, annual incentive processing, pay program designs and compliance, annual salary structure movement, and implementation of new programs. The ideal candidate will have strong detail orientation, a passion for accuracy, and the ability to see the broader picture.

In this role you will be expected to:

  • Demonstrate expertise in compensation analysis including competitive pay analysis, structure design, position in range (PIR) analysis, financial impact, merit increase and salary structure movement trends, annual incentive plan design, and long-term incentive compensation.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to our business leaders and HR business partners, providing consultation and creative solutions to address total compensation challenges in the business
  • Assist in the development, implementation, administration, and evaluation of strategies, plans, programs, and procedures designed to provide for equitable and competitive employee compensation
  • Lead a variety of projects, including annual compensation review and incentive processing, pay program designs and compliance, annual salary structure movement, and implementation of new programs
  • Lead Workday compensation system enhancements in partnership with HRIS on Total Rewards Statements, etc
  • Develop metrics and reports to assess the utilization of our pay programs against market and company goals
  • Research, analyze, and provide insights across geographic locations on future improvements, anticipating upcoming compensation concerns
  • Transfer knowledge by training client teams on processes and deliverables


  • University degree in business administration, finance/accounting, or human resources.
  • Minimum of six (6) years of professional and relevant work experience (at lease three (3) years of experience working in compensation role(s) highly desired – preferably with exposure to global compensation).
  • Strong problem solving, communications, and presentation skills.
  • Strong attention to details with an emphasis on accuracy and the ability to see the broader picture.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience enhancing or implementing compensation systems and reporting tools – preferably in Workday.
  • Proven success in a high volume, fast paced and growth-oriented environment.
  • Experience consulting with subject matter experts to capture top objectives and behavioral targets for incentivization.
  • An enthusiastic, high energy with well-developed influencing skills with the confidence and ability to work at all levels of the organization.
