Summary

The Financial Analyst works with the Retirement team to execute Clark’s retirement plan as part of its overall total rewards program.  In this role you will have key responsibilities and make an impact on our business. 

Responsibilities

  • Auditing (annual cycle)

  • Reconcile Year End data: HRIS to Vanguard

  • Prepare the non-discrimination compliance testing data in the rigorous and specific format required by Vanguard; Submit, revise, and resubmit the data until it’s clean

  • Review and audit Vanguard’s Match True Up calculations

  • Create/Assemble extensive reporting required for the annual audit; Research discrepancies and prepare responses throughout the audit (4-5 months long)

  • Quantitative/Technical  

    • Calculate the annual Company Contribution

    • Ad hoc retirement-related payroll transaction review and reconciliation with Vanguard (accuracy of calculation and transmission)

  • Administration

  • Logistics for annual audit: schedule interview meetings, manage calendar

  • Logistics for in person Vanguard education meetings: plan with regional offices and jobsites, coordinate with Vanguard

  • Respond to participant inquiries

  • Ensure data quality and system configuration of the retirement plans in the HRIS are consistent with Vanguard requirements

Basic Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of quantitative experience: finance, accounting, mathematics, or related area

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, mathematics, quantitative analysis or related discipline preferred but not required

  • High attention to detail

  • High proficiency with Excel

  • High mathematical aptitude

  • 401(k) or other retirement plan experience and general investment knowledge helpful

  • Vanguard background helpful

  • Workday experience helpful

  • Ability to maintain and secure confidential information

  • Self-starter, results oriented team player

  • Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task and prioritize workload

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
