Job Description

We are seeking a Principal HRIS Analyst to directly impact a mission-driven, energetic workforce who are changing the way people use energy. As the Principal HRIS Analyst, you will play a key role by supporting and enhancing the organization’s HR systems, data integrity, and analytics needs through administration and enhancement of the HCM and related solutions. You will be responsible for delivering critical support to the HRIS function and will have the opportunity to work on a variety of People Team programs and projects. You will drive change by assessing and anticipating system-related needs. And you will develop and implement integrated system solutions to meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Relationships – Create partnerships across HR, IT, Payroll, and other functions to support and deliver first-class technology and data solutions to the organization.
  • Training and Support – Provide functional and technical support, including answering user questions and researching and resolving complex issues. Create and maintain system support resources (job aids, tutorial videos, etc.) for all stakeholders.
  • Optimization – Anticipate, identify, and recommend solutions to HR business problems. Collaborate with the HRIS Manager and stakeholders to influence and support the HR technology roadmap.
  • Project Management – Manage small to medium scale projects, including coordinating resources, requirements gathering, business process review, testing (scenario development through UAT), and development of documentation and communication materials.
  • Data Integrity – Accurately process data imports and corrections. Recommend, implement, and document internal processes and audit procedures to ensure data integrity.
  • Feature Releases – Manage Workday releases by evaluating and testing feature changes and recommending process or system optimizations to stakeholders in alignment with business goals.
  • Reporting – Partner with stakeholders to identify and create reporting solutions that support data and analytic needs.  Develop, test, and train end-users on reporting capabilities.
  • Knowledge – Stay abreast of system trends and best practices. Leverage Workday Community and participate in brainstorms, User Groups, forums, etc.

Qualifications: 

  • 6+ years of professional experience with HCM web-based applications
  • 4+ years of experience with Workday HCM is required, including experience with Compensation, Benefits, or Recruiting
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field is preferred
  • Experience working with functional HR teams in the development and implementation of technical solutions that improve the user experience, drive efficiencies, and improve performance
  • Proven background in problem solving and partnership in a global environment
  • Passion for working with people and systems, and a strong interest in helping customers succeed
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfort with ambiguity and proven track record managing multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
  • Desire to learn and take on new challenges
  • Advanced excel skills required, PowerBI experience preferred

$87,300.00 – $131,000.00
