Job Summary

As a Program Manager for Total Rewards, you will oversee and coordinate different related projects to ensure they benefit one another and meet business goals. Some of your main duties will include organizing various total rewards programs and activities to improve efficiencies, building long-term goals for department projects, and developing programs. The role will work closely with the Executive Director, Total Rewards,and the Senior Director, Benefits & Absence Management, as well as the Total Rewards leadership team.

The Ideal Future Caregiver is someone who:

-Has extensive knowledge of total rewards programs including health, dental, vision, flexible spending accounts, Paid Time Off, Disability, Maternity/Parental, Retirement, COBRA, FMLA, ERISA plans, Open Enrollment, and summary plan descriptions.
-Has experience managing projects and/or programs and delivering results.
-Has strong presentation skills.
-Has intermediate-to-advanced level Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.

Job Details

This position would be hybrid for candidates who reside in the Greater NE OH area. Open to considering candidates remotely in Ohio (not in Greater NE OH area) and Florida.

Responsibilities:

  • Develops, implements, manages and maintains operational systems and activities.
  • Serves as a liaison with all levels of the organization and outside community.
  • Manages multiple priorities and projects with competing deadlines.
  • Allocates time to meet completion requirements. Serves as a coach and mentor for other positions in the department.
  • Reviews and monitors adherence to Human Resources policies and corporate compliance procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or related field.

Certifications:

  • May be required for specific positions as per policy or regulation.

Complexity of Work:

  • Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to take appropriate action in a stressful environment.
  • Demonstrated team, leadership, organizational and problem solving abilities.

Work Experience:

  • Three years of experience in systems training, project management.
  • Data analysis in healthcare setting preferred.
  • Offset:  Associate’s degree and five years of experience.
  • Offset:  Master’s degree and two years of experience.
  • Healthcare experience strongly preferred.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Knowledge of total rewards programs including health, dental, vision, flexible spending accounts, Paid Time Off, Disability, Maternity/Parental, Retirement, COBRA, FMLA, ERISA plans, Open Enrollment, and summary plan descriptions.
  • Experience managing projects and/or programs and delivering results. 
  • Strong presentation skills. 
  • Intermediate-to-advanced level Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills. 
  • Experience or knowledge of Workday application.
