The Workday Engagement Manager (Continuous Value Services) is a leader,  project manager,  and mentor who thrives on client, company, and team accomplishment. This person will be hands-on with the development of key project deliverables such as: charter, project/staffing plans, issue logs, etc. while driving client engagement. Any budget or resourcing constraints will be communicated and addressed, keeping in mind the project’s success and profitability. Â
Key Responsibilities:
- Become an expert in Cynergy Implementation Methodology and use it on all  CVS  engagements. Â
- Demonstrate competency in the Workday product suite – HCM, Payroll, and/or Financials. Â
- Manage 20 small to medium CVS  engagements. Â
- Ensure projects are properly planned and staffed. Â
- Track issues and risks communicate status and escalate non-resolved issues. Communicate issues and account status. Â
- Provide guidance and mentoring to Principal Consultants working on CVS engagements. Â
- Work with the client project manager and/or sponsor to identify/resolve all issues that could impact project scope and/or time frames. Â
- Ensure project tasks are delivered within the budget outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW) and according to the agreed upon Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) Â
- Present clients with change orders in the event  Cognizant is being asked to perform tasks that are outside the scope of the SOW. 
Education & Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experienceÂ
- Previous Workday experience strongly preferred, but not required. Â
- Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning. Â
- A practitioner background in HR, Finance, or Payroll. Â
- PMP a plus
- Very organized individual with the ability to work in a highly deadline-driven environment with strong time management and multi-tasking skills Â
- Excellent project management skills and strong attention to detail Â
- Ability to work with minimal supervision, demonstrating flexibility, accountability, initiative, and self-motivation to identify and execute tasks Â
- Ability to work closely with remote project teams with varying work styles and work schedules Â
