The Sr. Payroll Compliance Analyst oversees regulatory and business compliance practices across North America.  They will utilize their functional and technical expertise to evaluate daily operations, establish robust auditing procedures, guide stakeholders, and partner with the Payroll Manager to sustain a comprehensive payroll compliance operations program.  The Analyst drives their activities through collaboration with multiple stakeholders, technology partners, and other shared services team members. 


  • Provide subject matter expertise for North America Payroll practices and processes while participating in the evaluation, design, implementation, and support of auditing and oversight activities.   
  • Nurtures strong bilateral partnerships with stakeholders; eliciting and evaluating operational deficiencies and recommending business process adjustments for planning and prioritization. 
  • Liaise with Legal, TR Compliance programs, HR Systems (GHRS), Intelligent Process Automation (IPA) and other internal and external partners to extract, interpret, and operationalize system and behavioral updates.  
  • Leverage and coach pay and time performers during testing and analysis activities and assist with day-to-day escalations for troubleshooting and resolution.  
  • Identify and analyze metrics to support KPIs and OKRs then monitor, measure, and provide feedback on performance to help evaluate compliance gaps and successes 
  • Monitors regulatory changes that affect related processes and coordinates updates to the knowledge base, SOPs, and resource information for processing, ensuring those requirements are met through business practice.
  • Audit tax and compliance reporting for bi-weekly payrolls
  • Provide backup processing support during seasonal high-volume payroll processing


  • Able to manage multiple, often complex, tasks at the same time, while maintaining key timeline/deliverables

  • A collaborative professional, comfortable developing and managing cross-functional relationships.  
  •  Organized, able to juggle and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Comfortable working to meet strict deadlines 


  • Bachelor’s Degree specializing in HR, Business or related field, OR equivalent work experience in human resources/payroll within a business environment 
  • 6+ years’ experience with a large company, working directly in a Payroll environment  
  • Advanced technical capability in producing complex reporting, dashboards, and other analytical visuals for stakeholders 
  • Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Advanced skills with ADP Payroll products, preferably ADP Workforce Now or similar tools and knowledge of time keeping systems
  • CPP or FPC certification a plus
  • Experience with Workday and/or UKG desired
  • Experience in RPA, AI or other advanced technical process capabilities desired 
  • Intermediate experience utilizing ITSM or related inquiry management tools desired
