The Role
As a Talent Partner, you will own the recruitment for our Editorial and Content area of the business. You will be a true business partner, managing recruitment and being the first point of contact for all recruitment queries. You will demonstrate a strong sense of initiative, responsibility and follow-through in all aspects of the role, and possess the ability to think strategically about recruitment.Â

You will be part of a wider global people team, sitting in the UK Talent Acquisition team, and will report into the UK Talent Lead.Â
What will you be doing?Â

Managing recruitment for your business area and being the first point of contact for your area’s recruitment queries

Recruiting high calibre candidates for a variety of specialisms and creating sourcing strategies where necessaryÂ
-
Interviewing candidates via phone, Zoom or in- personÂ
-
Provide an exceptional candidate experience

Ensuring to eliminate bias, foster diverse candidate pools, and contribute to building an inclusive workforce Â

Recruiting for other roles across the wider business when required Â

Building effective relationships with stakeholders and offering consultative advice, and practical solutions to any challengesÂ
-
Effectively communicating and, where necessary, managing up to the Talent Lead
-
Working collaboratively with the rest of the Talent Acquisition team and supporting each other when neededÂ

Collaborating effectively with those supporting your business area

Working closely with People Operations team and the wider People team on projects and initiatives

Producing high quality documents and leading projectsÂ

ATS data reporting and ensuring the data is accurate at all timesÂ

Continuously expanding knowledge and skills in Talent Acquisition and broader HR principles at all times, and engaging in professional development opportunitiesÂ

Bringing new ideas and learnings ‘to the table’Â
Who you are:Â

You have managed recruitment for a large business area or function in an in-house setting as a Talent Partner or AdvisorÂ
-
You have a deep understanding of the recruitment process, sourcing strategies, and industry trendsÂ
-
Experience recruiting for media, fashion, publishing, or similar industries, would be advantageousÂ
-
Committed to providing a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment processÂ
-
Knowledge of effective candidate assessment techniques, interview processes, and selection methodologies to attract and identify top talent available in the marketÂ
-
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) to establish and nurture relationships with hiring managers, candidates and the wider business

Thrives on working in a collaborative Talent Acquisition teamÂ

Ability to partner effectively with People Partners and wider People team on day to day mattersÂ

Strong problem solving and decision making skills

Flexible, resourceful, and prepared to adjust

Understanding when to bring various stakeholders into challenging situations, when to manage upwards and when to make informed decisions

Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment within a global businessÂ

Able to manage small projects and complete project work in a timely manner

Comfortable working with recruitment metrics and leveraging data to optimise recruitment processes and outcomes – Knowledge of Workday would be advantageous
