Role Description: CoStar Group is currently seeking a HR Business Partner II in our Richmond, VA office to support teams across CoStar Group products. The primary objective of this role is to support and coordinate essential HR functions. Areas of oversight and job focus will include administration of HR programs, HR transactions, and provide HR data and analytics. In this role, he/she will be tasked with working on all facets of HR and people strategies that enable business objectives and goals.Â

Responsibilities: Â

Support full lifecycle employee and HR processes – merit/bonus, promotions, talent & perf review support, and engagement survey action planningÂ

Review and approve transactions via HRIS including promotions, transfers, job and compensation changes and terminationsÂ

Review, input and approve all D&Ds and other corrective actions in WorkdayÂ
-
Answer manager and employee questions and resolve issues in a timely manner Â

Consolidate and analyze data / metrics for review with clients (includes ad-hoc reporting requests)Â Â

Support leave / accommodations / immigration requestsÂ

Conduct exit interviewsÂ

Make process improvement recommendations, and implementÂ

Additional projects as needed (facilitate training, process documentation, RIF support, organizational movement, etc.)Â

Continuous learning – Invest in learning / understanding specific businesses, teams and rolesÂ

Participate in special projects to ensure effective delivery of HR initiatives and services.Â
Basic Qualifications: Â
-
Bachelor's degree from an accredited, not-for-profit University or College. Â
-
A track record of commitment to prior employers. Â
-
2+ years HR experience requiredÂ
-
Excellent data analysis, critical thinking, and problem-solving skillsÂ
-
Strong presentation, verbal and written communication skillsÂ
-
Proficiency in excel and Office suite requiredÂ
-
Experience producing results in a dynamic and fast-paced environmentÂ
-
Basic understanding of employment law, particularly in CaliforniaÂ
Preferred Qualifications:Â

HR Generalist/HRBP experience Â

Experience working within the Workday HRIS platformÂ

Demonstrated ability to succeed in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple stakeholdersÂ

Self-directed and able to balance multiple time-sensitive deliverables and effectively prioritize, organize, and manage time.Â

Proactive and results-oriented with strong attention to detail and excellent follow throughÂ
