Senior HR Coordinator


Job Description


The HR Coordinator will primarily be responsible for providing service and support to all employees, managers, vendors, and other third parties by responding in a timely manner to inquiries and requests for assistance. 

This role will require completing assignments and tasks by set deadlines, including data entry, and ensuring forms, documents and processes are complete and properly updated. You will also provide guidance to managers and employees ensuring consistent application of company policies and legal compliance.

Responsibilities include:

  • Fields all incoming emails to HR Department inbox and calls to the HR number.
  • On-Boarding
    • Manage New Hire electronic onboarding
    • Provide on-boarding support for new hires and acquisitions
    • Participation in New Hire orientation presentations as necessary including collection of I9 documents and fielding all questions.
    • Assist candidate and work with vendor on relocation benefits
  • Transaction Management and Auditing
    • Processing terminations, including removal from internal systems and ensuring proper documentation and paperwork has been communicated to employees
    • Assist with HRIS transactions (promotions, bonuses, transfers, move workers, one-time payments, internal database updates)
    • Workday audits
  • Benefits Support
    • Employee leave of absence management including FMLA and disability
    • Benefits administration and support
    • Tuition Assistance administration
    • Commuter benefits administration (invoice reconciliation, audit & entry into HRIS system)
  • Referral bonus administration
  • Immigration support
  • Policy analysis and development
  • Reduction in Force and termination support
  • Reporting
    • Compliance reporting and administration
    • Management reports
    • Company Intranet maintenance – HR page
  • Other responsibilities and projects as assigned to include improving processes and procedures.

Qualifications for consideration:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Relevant HR experience or HR degree preferred.
  • Demonstrated interest in and exposure to the Human Resources field via work, internships, or academic experience; understanding of HR concepts and Employment laws and regulations a plus
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Word and Excel
  • Workday experience desired.
  • Successful candidate will be self-directed, motivated, dependable, detail-oriented, and be a strong team player; this includes showing a drive for results, inquisitiveness, and adaptability
  • Demonstrated commitment to internal customer satisfaction through active listening and problem solving skills
  • Excellent organizational and oral/written communication skills
