Here’s the Gist:

The Talent Development Specialist will help develop, manage and drive quality learning and development programs for employees at Wolfspeed. We are looking for someone that excels in managing vendors, instructional design, development, and revision of new and existing instructor-led and self-paced learning and development activities. In this position, you will also assist the Learning Management System administrator with scheduling and tracking training. This position will be a part of the Human Resources Global Talent Management Team and will report to the Talent Development Program Manager.

The Day-to-Day:

  • Develops learning & development program structure with well-defined learning objectives aligned with business performance goals
  • Collaborates with subject matter experts to enhance educational content
  • Provides project management of offerings to accomplish the goals defined by the learning & development project scope and objectives
  • Develops materials, including facilitator support guides, end user guides, and other learning activities as needed for assigned learning & development projects
  • Reviews evaluation data to assess the effectiveness of learning & development programs and implements recommendations for improvements

This Job is Right for You if You Have (Minimum Requirements)

  • A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from an accredited institution
  • At least 3 years of multi-functional and/or cross-departmental program management experience, ideally in a global work environment
  • At least 3 years of training, facilitation and/or teaching experience in any setting
  • Experience working with Learning Management Systems (e.g. Workday Learning)

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, particularly in writing original content and editing legacy materials
  • Demonstrated and proven organizational, problem solving, analytical, and time management skills

  • Excellent relationship building and collaborative capabilities, with a positive outlook and ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
  • A self-driven, resilient, energetic and respectful approach to your work
  • A passion to help others achieve through learning and development
  • Experience creating and delivering on-demand content using Articulate Suite, Storyline, Captivate or similar technologies
  • Certification in MBTI, DiSC, Predictive Index (PI), StrengthsFinder, CCL 360 or other developmental assessment tools
  • Career coaching and/or executive coaching experience
