Job Summary: The Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator acts in a support role for the Learning & Development team. The LMS Administrator is responsible for supporting the maintenance of our LMS (Workday).  This position works closely with all members of the Learning and Development team, users, supervisors, administrators and others who interact with the LMS. This position typically works under general supervision and direction.  Incumbents of this position will regularly exercise discretionary and substantial decision-making authority.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Creates and maintains the configuration of the Workday LMS
  • Evaluates and processes new configuration requests to the Workday LMS
  • Manages the administration and quality control of  Workday LMS content
  • Reviews, uploads, and tests self-paced content
  • Manages roles, securities, and permissions associated with Workday  LMS access
  • Manage access to external learning platforms and analyze/report the utilization of different learning paths
  • Explore and recommend innovative Workday functionalities through available resources like Workday community to enhance accessibility and engagement, supporting the organization's transformation journey
  • Utilize a variety of formats to design and deliver contextually rich, highly interactive, engaging, and objective driven instructor led training and web-based programs
  • Troubleshoots Workday LMS issues and coordinates with technical support as well as external learning platforms when needed
  • Provides ongoing training and technical support to users, supervisors, administrators and others who interact with the Workday LMS
  • Researches, identifies, and implements well thought out solutions, while considering cascading impact
  • Identifies best practices and documents standard operating procedures to ensure consistency across administrators
  • Provides customized reporting on an ad hoc basis.

Minimum Job Requirements:

Educated to degree level in a relevant field, plus 2 to 4 years of LMS administration experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills (communication with all parties). Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail (performing quality checks and verifying LMS data). Detail-oriented (tracking LMS issues and functionality). Strong organizational skills
