KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Detailed responsibilities include: 

  • Work with finance stakeholders and other cross-functional business partners to deliver projects end to end across various business functions.
  • Explore opportunities for simplification, automation, and elimination of duplicate efforts and data.
  • Support the execution of the finance roadmap to deliver Finance objectives.
  • Responsible for maintaining effective communication within the team and various stakeholders across the organization.
  • Contribute to solutions based on understanding of strategy, operations, system ability and accounting guidelines/controls.
  • Perform detailed analysis and design effective solutions to a variety of organizational needs.
  • Proactively engage and collaborate with functional leaders, process owners and system users to understand business processes.
  • Enhance process maps for key finance processes so Stakeholders and business partners can understand the value added.
  • Identify and track financial processes addressing the pain points and drive projects that improve the overall finance function. 
  • Assist with special project work for finance as needed, through direction of Finance leadership.
  • Prepare project metrics to highlight improvements and communicate to senior leadership.

JOB REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance plus 3+ years of related professional work experience desired
  • CPA (active or inactive status) and/or Master’s degree a plus

Skills/Previous Experience:

  • Workday Financial system and financial process improvement experience
  • Exposure to Finance efficiency tools (Alteryx, UiPath)
  • Understanding of accounting guidelines and SOX controls
  • Project management skills
  • Ability to assess granular level details to facilitate strategic high-level decision making
  • Excellent communication skills / relationship management/ client facing /  influence decision making   
  • Strong attention to detail and data analysis including ability draw conclusions/ glean insights / tell a story through data
  • Experience working for a global organization
  • Ability to multi-task and act with a sense of urgency
  • Strong organization skills and ability to prioritize

  • Strong project management capabilities to plan, organize, deliver projects on time and on budget
