We are seeking a Senior HRIS Systems Analyst with a background in Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) system configuration, user training, data reporting, and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate will have strong experience supporting a Workday (HCM) ecosystem. This role requires a broad understanding of Workday, excellent problem-solving and communication skills, and the ability to lead and document efforts that enhance end-user adoption and system performance.
Responsibilities:
- Support the configuration, testing, and deployment of system updates and platform enhancements, with a focus on ensuring continuity in HR operations.
- Manage the Workday system support ticket queue adhering to SLAs for fixes and response times.
- Manage and maintain HRIS documentation, training materials, and FAQs to support users across HR and business units.
- Support business owners with analysis of Workday data to define and deliver reports that provide actionable insights related to performance, benefits, payroll, and other HR functions.
- Collaborate with HR, IT, and third-party vendors to troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues in a timely manner.
- Provide day-to-day support for HRIS applications, including module-specific troubleshooting in areas such as performance management, time & expense reporting, learning, recruitment, benefits, and payroll.
- Assist with data migration, validation, and reconciliation efforts during system upgrades or platform transitions.
- Participate in system audits and ensure compliance with data governance and security standards.
- Assist in the planning and execution of Workday projects, including system implementations, integrations, and process redesigns.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in an HRIS support or analyst role with Workday or a similar platform.
- Experience managing system upgrades and configurations with minimal disruption to business processes.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
- Demonstrated ability to lead user training initiatives and develop support documentation.
- Familiarity with a wide range of HR functions, including payroll, benefits, performance management, and recruitment.
- Proven collaboration skills with cross-functional teams, including HR, IT, and vendors.
- Exposure to or experience with Workday platforms and modules preferred.
- Experience supporting system implementations or large-scale upgrades preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
- Clear communicator with the ability to document technical steps and collaborate across business and IT teams.
Education/Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Information Systems, Business, or a related field—or equivalent experience.
- Workday certification(s), or willingness to pursue them preferred.
