The Sr. Director of Compensation will responsible for all aspects of our global compensation design, delivery and administration program. This role will partner with the HR Leadership team to develop strategic proposals regarding compensation programs; these programs will range from broad-based incentives to developing metrics and ensuring that our day-to-day programs are running at optimal levels. Additionally, this role will be responsible for the following: annual bonuses, salary surveys, pay equity, pay transparency, short and long-term incentives, executive compensation, and equity programs, as well as providing day-to-day support for leaders related to job, wage, and salary classification.
Job Description:

Develop, implement, and manage the Company’s compensation program which aligns with the company’s business goals while ensuring competitive and fair compensation

Maintain a compensation structure/philosophy and classifications system, define job levels and families, compile market data and establish pay parameters

Manage ongoing employee compensation programs includes annual salary adjustments, promotion awards and equity programs

Overall plan development includes both strategic direction and financial modelling capabilities to ensure any plan changes drive the company objectives on both the top and bottom line.

Support the design and administration of executive compensation packages, including equity grants, bonuses, and other incentive programs.

Lead the team through year-end compensation cycles, ensuring smooth execution and managing within internal and external controlsÂ

Manage the compensation budget, ensuring financial efficiency while maintaining competitive compensation packages

Responsible for actively participating in the commission plan design sessions with the leadership team and working with the team to translate the outputs into a written commission plan

Ensures that the sales commission plan resonates with the team, aligns with the corporate objectives, and enhances the overall plan

Consult with business units on local compensation program design and execution

Participate, analyze, and interpret market data

Complete special studies and recommendations on subjects such as incentive compensation, bonus plans, sales compensation or company pay equity

Support the creation of high-quality materials for the Compensation Committee

Consolidate information and produce reports to be used for management decision-making

Ensure proper documentation and audit processes are developed, approved, and followed

Minimum Requirements: Â

Prior experience designing global compensation programs
-
Experience with executive compensation and equity programs

Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret market data

Excellent communication and negotiation abilities

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage competing priorities with a sense of urgency

Ability to effectively collaborate, work in a decentralized environment, and influence people at all levels in the organization

Demonstrated strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities

Experience with Workday HCM
Experience/Skills: Â This position requires a minimum of 12+ years in a progressively growing compensation position. Knowledge of the data center and/or real estate industry is a plus.

Proven ability to create and execute multi-year plans to support Total Reward, HR, and business transformation

Outstanding organizational skills and a can-do demeanor that shows persistence despite obstacles and setbacks

Willingness and flexibility to take on special projects in support of the broader HR agenda and strategy

Managing large-scale compensation projects such as salary reviews, incentive plan designs and pay equity analysis.

Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite

Manage and oversee large-scale initiatives involving cross-functional teams
Education: BS Degree with an emphasis in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
Certifications:Â Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or Certified Equity Professional (CEP) is a plus
Work requirements: This position requires you to be in the office Tuesday – Thursday working remote Monday and Friday.
