As Sr. Compensation Analyst, your essential job responsibilities will include the following:

Compensation Program Management

  • Design, maintain, and implement compensation structures, including salary ranges, bonus plans, and incentive programs, that support the organization's pay philosophy and total rewards strategy.
  • Lead the execution of annual compensation planning and continuously evaluate effectiveness of compensation programs, innovating and recommending changes to maximize the effectiveness of our investment in total rewards.
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners and leaders to understand business objectives to ensure compensation programs align with organizational goals.
  • Partner with the business to annually update all incentive programs including sales commission plans, departmental plans, and Profit Sharing plans.
  • Support Director, Associate Service Center with management of the Non-Qualified Deferred Compensation Plan.
  • Acts as lead on the management and completion of the annual merit process and incentive plan processing within Workday.

Compensation Analysis & Compliance

  • Provide counsel to the business on compensation issues and trends related to the compensation program, statutory regulations, policy/procedure interpretation, and incentive programs.
  • Assist in the creation and evaluation of position descriptions and determination of FLSA classification, ensuring alignment with legal, organizational goals and market competitiveness.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of compensation data, including market reviews, internal equity, and pay trends, to develop and recommend competitive compensation and strategies.
  • Conduct annual research in preparation of annual merit and salary structure aging recommendations.

Workday Administration

  • Configure and maintain HCM Compensation components and Advanced Compensation, including, but not limited to, allowance plans, one-time payments, bonus plans, grades and grade profiles, compensation business processes, merit, and bonus processing in Workday.
  • Communicate and distribute incentive program plan documents through Workday or other method of distribution, in compliance with applicable state requirements.
  • Process wage and salary adjustments in Workday pertaining to market adjustments, incentive plans, and/or compensation plan changes.
  • Review and approve all offers of employment, and job changes within Workday to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Audit Workday HCM to ensure compensation-related changes are made correctly and data is accurately reflected; investigate & resolve discrepancies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Finance, or a combination of education and experience that enables performance in all aspects of the position.
  • Minimum of 6 years of compensation administration experience; demonstrated knowledge of compensation methodologies, commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Experience managing executive compensation, inclusive of equity programs and deferred compensation plans preferred.
  • Experience with configuring HCM Compensation components and Advanced Compensation in a HCM environment (within Workday strongly preferred), including, but not limited to, allowance plans, one-time payments, bonus plans, grades and grade profiles, compensation business processes, and merit and bonus processing preferred.
  • Experienced in addressing complex compensation challenges and proposing innovative solutions to support organizational objectives.
  • Expert level skills in MS Excel
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with ability to effectively present to all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to research, conduct analysis, and develop compensation proposals, independently and in collaboration with others.

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and geographic location. The total compensation package may also include commission, bonus or profit sharing. Base Pay Range:

$105,000-$115,000
