IT Principal Software Engineer – Workday Integration

The Software Engineering team delivers next-generation software application enhancements and new products for a changing world. What you’ll achieve
As an IT Principal Software Engineer, you will deliver products and improvements for a changing world. Working at the cutting edge, you will craft and develop software for platforms, peripherals, applications and diagnostics — all with the most sophisticated technologies, tools, software engineering methodologies and partnerships
You will:

  • Develop WD integrations like Studio integrations, Workday EIB, Core Connectors, and other workday template-based connectors as per the business requirements
  • Convert the business requirements into a technical implementation plan
  • Test the WD integrations and E2E Data flow between WD and other systems
  • Be a domain specialist in data integrations and process flow

Essential Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience with technical WD implementations
  • Technical hands-on experience with Studio integrations, Workday EIB, Core Connectors, Document Transformation.
  • Strong knowledge in Workday template-based connectors including the payment connectors
  • Proficiency in SOAP and REST -based web services
  • Experienced in XML, XSLT, WWS (Workday Web Services), RAAS
  • Experience handling production support issues, minor and major defects/enhancements
  • Perform integration testing with the analysis and understanding of downstream and cross-functional impacts.
  • Completed at least 1 cycle of end-to-end Workday implementation from Requirements Gathering to Development, Testing and Deployment
  • Knowledge/Trained on Workday Financials (Customer Accounts/ Contracts, Billing and Revenue schedules, General Ledgers, etc.)
  • Understanding SDLC and Agile methodologies
  • Ability to lead assigned Workday integration projects with the ability to translate customer requirements into implementation plans
  • Strong presentation and communication skills are required

Desirable Requirements

  • 3+ years of Workday project implementation experience
  • Workday Financials experience is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in computing engineering or computer science
