Job Description:

Workday HCM Functional Analyst  who will be responsible for managing and executing Workday HCM business processes and configuration updates, including testing.

The Analyst will be responsible for resolving issues related to workflow, coordinating with IT for additional support,  and aiding in the evaluation of new release and update functionality. 

In this role, you’ll also act as a Business Analyst, responsible for consulting directly with HR functional leads and the business on what they’re seeking from Workday reporting, dashboards and HCM business processes.  You’ll perform research and analysis on solutions to meet the needs of the business as well as handling design, configuration and testing.  ( experience on compensation module is advantage) 

Responsibilities & Activities include:

Manage business processes HCM modules (e.g., Core, Benefits, Compensation, Absence Management), as well as Analytics and Reporting , Benefits, Talent Management, Compensation, Absence, etc.

Collaborate and partner across multiple departments and teams to understand business needs and to assess Workday configuration feasibility and impact to other business processes, integrations or security

Provide expert level knowledge of Workday HCM core principles and work diligently to overcome foreseeable challenges, staying up to date on any system updates and changes

Maintain data accuracy and integrity within the system through regular review and audits; where necessary, conduct root cause analysis and provide solution recommendations to resolve identified data quality issues

Document business requirements, and translate them into functional and technical specifications

Resolve issues related to workflow and configuration updates

Coordinate with IT when additional technical support is needed

Evaluate new releases and update functionality accepted

Work with other areas of HR and the business to evaluate processes and to identify and ways to improve them

Make configuration changes

Manage and execute release testing for both functionality and user roll-out

Create and deliver process and system training when necessary
