Role Description
The “HR Enterprise Architect” roles will report into the People Domain Lead within the Enterprise Architecture team and will be focused on driving our strategic people, HR and employee capabilities, lining up the technology and architecture to ensure we are a best in class employer

You will own and develop the architecture for everything that touches our strategic use of Workday, including
-
Recruiting and onboarding employee experience (covering sourcing channels, screening and assessment; recruitment operations, hiring and onboarding apps)

HR Operations

People Analytics

You will own and maintain the Workday platform roadmap

Govern and support how Workday projects are designed and delivered
Although experience with Workday will be useful, your influence won’t be restricted to this area as the EA role needs to drive the overall Target Architecture and Roadmaps across all HR-related process capabilities. You will be a trusted advisor to D&T and business teams and will bring your strategic insight and technical product knowledge to ensure we deliver a brilliant experience for our People through our HR and employee experience applications
Top Accountabilities
The HR Enterprise Architect will be responsible for:

Defining the end to end architecture for people services across Diageo globally; covering business process, data, applications and technology

Stretch the Diageo business by developing the roadmap for a fantastic recruiting and onboarding experience for both the candidate and the hiring team
-
You’ll redesign the sourcing, assessment, hiring and onboarding services we deliver, covering Workday and non-Workday applications
-
You will also own how we plan, attract and retain the best talent through innovative use of technology across the people domain, covering both HR and IT services
-
As a HR Digital & Data Architecture expert, you will ensure that business process, data, applications and technology come together in individual Workday project solutions to meet business needs
-
You will develop the future focussed roadmap for how we use Workday in Diageo, keeping close to the Workday roadmap and influencing how we adopt new capability to drive business advantage

Provide technical consulting and advisory services to internal and external solution and development teams. Services include technical workshops, design reviews, integration reviews, creating architecture designs, solution optimization and ad-hoc technical inquiries from implementation teams.

Continual expansion of your architecture knowledge, constantly seeking ways to broaden exposure to the latest and greatest trends and developments in the technology space
Qualifications and Experience Required
Architecture Expertise:
-
Demonstrated expertise designing solutions in a global enterprise environment
-
Demonstrated broad working knowledge of Workday application including HCM, recruiting & Applicant Tracking and Learning
-
Experience of other people applications and architecture across talent, recruit and onboarding, workforce planning (e.g., OrgVue, Avature, HiredScore, Pymetrics)
-
Experienced in IS joiner and onboarding processes and applications; ServiceNow experience will be an advantage
-
Experience of integration middleware (such as IBM API Connect, Mulesoft etc)
-
Experience with AI Search and match solutions, and online assessment tools will be a definite advantage
-
Experience with architecting, designing and implementing cloud-based solutions
-
10 years demonstrated experience successfully delivering information technologies business solutions for large-scale global applications across multiple hardware and software platforms
-
Some experience of implementing or utilizing relevant integration platforms
-
Leading solution design during all phases of development and deployment
-
TOGAF certification preferred (but not essential)
Functional Expertise:
-
Significant knowledge of Workday systems, implementations and processes, preferably within a large, global organization (preferably FMCG)
-
Strong experience within the Workday ecosystem; Significant knowledge of the product and platform capabilities including Business Process, Security, Data, Analytics, API development, UI design

Likely to have a Workday certification

Experience in Agile project delivery methods is useful (but not essential)

Demonstrated ability to deliver integrated Business-IT strategy

5 years’ experience working with executive sponsors and senior business leadership teams developing and delivering strategy and operating plans with demonstrated competency
