The Senior Compensation Analyst will manage and provide analytic support for base pay programs and administration as well as incentive plan design and administration. This individual will serve as a compensation subject matter expert and consult with HR leaders, both domestically and globally, on compensation related activities and initiatives.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and analyze market data.  Counsel HR partners and business leaders on competitive pay decisions.

  • Conduct job evaluations in order to determine salary grade and pay recommendations. 

  • Understand and apply FLSA regulations with regard to job evaluation process.

  • Market price non-executive jobs to meet business needs and comply with internal equity. 

  • Develop and maintain U.S. salary ranges.

  • Review and develop merit budget, establish merit matrix guidelines, and determine changes in salaries based on labor market trends.

  • Support annual rewards planning process from a global perspective.

  • Serve as the Workday subject matter expert with regard to compensation data.  Support the implementation of new compensation processes within Workday.

  • Responsible for managing the integrity of overall job and compensation data within Workday.

  • Provide input and assist with the assessment and ongoing use of market pricing software and data.

  • Provide input to the Global Total Rewards Center of Excellence for the design of compensation programs, practices, systems, communications, and Workday reporting.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Human Resources and Finance on compensation program design, program set-up/configuration within Workday, and budgeting process.

  • Lead sales and non-sales incentive plan evaluation and design.

  • Assess incentive program effectiveness through plan design modeling and determine cost impact.

  • Lead incentive plan administration including payout calculations and partner with Finance from an audit perspective.

  • Update and maintain incentive system with employee data and plan design features.

  • Draft communications to HR, managers and employees.

  • Lead compensation related projects as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business or related field

  • 5+ years of progressive Compensation experience

  • 2+ years of project management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working with Workday, Mercer eIPE and Market Pay systems

  • CCP certification

  • Advanced Excel skills and intermediate-to-advanced Access skills

  • Ability to: Work in a matrixed environment and manage multiple projects with minimum supervision; Provide work guidance and direction to other team members; Advise cross-functional leaders and offer innovative solutions and recommendations.
