About You

We are looking for a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist, within Human Resources (HR) – HR Solutions. This position can be located in Midland, MI or Houston, TX, and is aligned to the HR Talent Acquisition discipline within Dow North America. You will act as a first point of contact to Dow hiring managers and candidates to deliver efficient, integrated solutions on the field of Talent Acquisition. You are a great team player that can work collaboratively and independently. Your responsibilities include:

  • Lead and implement the function/site hiring strategy and hiring initiatives by closely working with HR partners and hiring managers

  • Be accountable for the full cycle recruiting process (posting through offer) for the responsible function/site with clear understanding of hiring needs and meeting those expectations during the recruiting process

  • Take the lead to define and implement the inclusive sourcing strategy and plan from both function/site and individual requisition level

  • Provide a diverse selection of pre-screened and interviewed candidates to the hiring managers in alignment with global inclusive hiring guidelines

  • Delivering a best-in-class candidate experience through the End-to-End Talent Acquisition process with ability to engage / influence candidates and prospects

  • Ensure flawless execution and problem solving of hiring activities

  • Identify opportunities for (future) improvements and participate or lead the global or regional TA projects

  • Training of new Dow recruiters on e.g. Workday/Dow processes

Your knowledge, skills & abilities include:

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree OR associate’s degree AND 5 years of recruiter experience OR relevant military experience at or above a U.S. E6 ranking OR Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class ranking

  • A minimum of 3 years Human Resources related experience

  • A minimum requirement for this position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of HR recruiting experience

  • Workday recruiting experience

  • Previous project management experience
