About you and this role:

As Senior Workforce Administration Representative you are part of the Workforce Administration (WFA) discipline within the HR function, based in Mumbai (India).

WFA primarily focuses on all the employee lifecycle related activities, e.g. onboarding, managing employee data, lifecycle changes, absence management and offboarding of all Dow employees. This role will support WFA activities for 1 or multiple countries within EMEAI.

This role enables a best-in-class employee experience through exceptional subject matter expertise, consultation, and service delivery in the areas of WFA. This includes the management, implementation, and delivery of innovative solutions specific to WFA. Receives instructions, guidance, and direction from more senior level roles to provide expertise to triage and managing employee life cycle activities for the respective Dow locations.

Responsibilities:

  • Processes all employee lifecycle (Onboarding, Job Changes, Personal Data changes, Reporting and Terminations) related transactions, from onboarding to separation in both online or offline platforms.
  • Acts as primary point-of-contact for workforce administration inquiries (via phone, chat, and eRequest), identifying and delivering solutions to employees and People Leaders.
  • Delegates and escalates queries as appropriate, but remains responsible through completion
  • Tracks progress, and provides continuous feedback to requestors on status of their queries
  • Supports oversight of service operations by responding to service demands as they arise (e.g., volume of calls, staff absence, chat and eRequest queries, etc.)
  • Engages in and drives overall continuous improvement processes (e.g., to reduce inquiry volume)

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of HR practices / conditions and minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the field.
  • Experience with labor regulations for countries in: UK/Nordics, South-East Asia
  • Experience with Workday business processes i.e.: Onboarding, Job Change, Personal Data changes, Reporting, Terminations, Position Management and Supervisory Organization management.
  • Technical Skills: Can work fluently with multiple technology platforms, strong command over MS-Office
  • Fluent in English

Preferred skills:

  • Experience working in a global matrix organization across different regions: EMEAI and/or APAC.
  • Ability to work independently with multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with various audiences across different levels in the organization.
  • Collaborative and innovative mindset.
  • Ability to work on cross-discipline projects.

Additional Notes:

  • Relocation is not supported for this role.
  • To be eligible for this position you need to live within 1 hour commuting distance from our Airoli office (Mumbai).
