PTS Analyst, People Technology Solutions

Team Overview

The People Technology Solutions (PTS) team is accountable for the service delivery of Human Resources technology used across eBay. Our charter is to enable eBay’s People Outcomes through Technology Solutions. The technology portfolio comprises of Workday HCM products at the core and ancillary SaaS products and custom solutions. PTS solution partners span across various teams in People (HR) org, eBay corporate functions, 3rd party service/solution providers and eBay Information Technology.

You will be joining a team whose expertise spans across Workday and other SaaS System config, Product management, and Systems analysis.

What You Would Do | Responsibilities

  • Work with customer to understand the individual needs of the business, design/propose solution from a user experience perspective
  • Analyze current system processes and use Workday Community for alignment on industry trends when making recommendations for improvements
  • Oversee system changes implementation from beginning to completion
  • Responsible for the collection, analysis, design, and documentation of functional requirements.
  • Prepare test scripts, process documentation, and ensure test execution.
  • Partner with the eBay Audit Team during audit review, system walkthroughs, and provide required data/reports
  • Provide regular communication to customers on progress and issues
  • Perform configuration to business processes, notifications, custom fields creation, and dynamic and Workday documents generation with focus in HCM Core and Onboarding
  • Provide support in Workday security by configuring user access, user group access, and role-based security; partner with other team members in initiatives to suggest solution and or guide through security implications
  • Support Workday reporting requirements, including dashboards
  • Prepare, load, and troubleshoot Workday EIBs
  • Partnering with Workday Integrations Team to support existing or new integrations; liaison between end user and the Integration Team by providing business process context, field mapping, and testing
  • Handle inbound service requests for support maintaining focus on the employee experience resolving cases quickly and with quality.

  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills.
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to handle various tasks in a fast-paced environment with flexibility and a positive demeanor
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to absorb new technologies and features quickly.
  • Teammate who will work across the organization to continue improving the way we provide service

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or 3-5 years equivalent experience in a related field
  • Demonstrated ability as an HRIS analyst
  • Minimum 3-5 years hands-on experience in Workday HCM – design, test, and QA processes
