Workday Employee Data Lead (HR)

We are responsible for all aspects of candidate and employee experience across eBay. We drive business performance, recruiting, learning and development, compensation, benefits, people operations shared services, and people tools and technologies – and oversee the continuing evolution of the company's culture.

Position

We are looking for an experienced Workday Employee Data Lead (HR) to join our People Operations Data Management team who will be based in Dublin. This role is responsible for the maintenance of People data and upholding data governance policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Development and implementation of strategic priorities for the function

  • Maintain and enhance the overall quality of HR data globally by upholding data governance policies and procedures, performing quality checks and resolving issues on a case-by-case basis

  • Analyse and report on contact volumes to identify trends and issues, present analysis on a regular basis, enabling the team to provide extra support where required

  • Lead People Operations centre related projects to improve operational effectiveness (e.g. continuous improvement, creating policy documentation)

  • Provide specialist expertise and advice for M&A activities

  • Build strong working relationships with key stakeholders including Operations Managers, People Technology & Analytics teams, Compensation, PBP’s etc. ensuring the delivery of effective, efficient and professional service

  • Coach & mentor team members in 3 regions (EMEA/APAC/AMER) to identify training needs and help uphold data governance policies and procedures in line with SOX.

  • Maintain/Create process documents, training material and work instructions and ensure that data management methodologies deliver high quality data

  • Acts as go-to person for complex organisation and position management inquiries

  • Project management experience including strong stakeholder management

Competencies & Prerequisite Knowledge

  • Strong working knowledge of Workday

  • Strong understanding of MS-Word, PowerPoint, Advanced Excel skills

  • Aptitude for analysis and investigation with a structured approach to problem solving / data analysis

  • Capable of adapting to changing situations and re-prioritise tasks as necessary dealing with unexpected situations

  • Strong attention to detail and high work standards ensuring a seamless client experience

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-cultural, global organization and to build strong trust-based relationships with remote client groups and colleagues

Experience

  • 5-7 years relevant work experience with strong People Leadership experience a requirement

  • 7+ years analyst/database experience, Workday experience required

  • Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
