The purpose of this role is to lead and plan HRIS projects and activities to translate business needs into system designs and capabilities with the main focus on HR reporting and HR data management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and plan larger and more complex sections of HRIS projects with the main focus on Workday Reporting and HR data management (e.g. implementation projects, configuration/integration, system testing) applying functional knowledge of HR systems and processes while evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, and solution development

  • Lead the design and configuration/creation of more complex custom/ad hoc reports and dashboards in multiple systems/modules with the main focus on Workday

  • Participate in development of reporting and data management strategy

  • Lead and plan upgrades, functionality/capabilities, enhancements, security, validation and general maintenance with focus on reporting and data management areas

  • Evaluating needs and defining system requirements based on consultations with business leaders and HR process owners

  • Provide recommendations/guidance to cross-functional team members to understand business and HR needs and translate them to system solutions in the areas of reporting and data management

  • Lead cross-functional teams to understand systems and data requirements from business and regions/countries utilizing broad knowledge of report inventory to deliver standards reports

  • Analyze current work processes and determine solutions utilizing system applications, business process and technical knowledge

  • Manage data integrity and define the internal processes for continuous improvement

  • Participate with cross functional teams to represent HRIS and propose solutions impacting organizational projects and alignment. Oversee projects through execution of best practices in software development, mentoring other team members, and ensuring that project deliverables are consistent with architecture policies

Education and Experience:

  • Min. Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Business Economics, IT or related fields

  • 4 years of previous experience related to Human Resources, HRIS or related areas

Additional Skills:

  • Proven expertise in usage of MS Office Suite (excellent knowledge of excel)

  • Knowledge of Power BI or Tableau as advantage

  • Proven expertise in usage of HRIS system(s) – Workday is an advantage

  • Proven success adhering to and leading project schedules and managing more complex sections of projects

  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills

  • Able to read, comprehend, write, and speak English

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives

  • Full understanding of organizational structures, changes and impact in HRIS system, business processes, and systems implications

  • Full knowledge in technology, trends, and systems

  • Full understanding of HR operations, data, information systems and process principles, practices and plans

  • Full understanding of Process Management

  • Strong leadership skills and ability to influence change

  • Ability to manage change effectively while mindful of technology, business processes, and systems implications

  • Strict attention to detail

  • Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels

  • Must be able to work in a team environment, including inter-departmental teams and key contact representing the organization on contracts or projects
