The Operations Analyst, Partner Expense is responsible for preparing and processing accurate and timely files for calculating the monthly partner statements in eHealth’s internal partner Incentive Compensation System as a result of leads referred to the Company’s website by the Company’s Partners.  Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Payment Operations, the position performs regular contract review and rate analysis and configurations and collaborates with various eHealth teams to prepare and deliver accurate and timely statements and payments to the Company’s Partners.

What you will do:

  • Complete monthly deliverables accurately, completely, and timely including review of partner agreements and rate configurations in the eHealth internal Partner Incentive Compensation System.
  • Prepare and process Partner incentive statements accurately and timely.
  • Collaborate with various internal eHealth teams including, but not limited to, Marketing, Business Development, Financial Planning, and Analysis to ensure timely and accurate payments to the Company’s partners.
  • Prepare monthly reporting and trend analyses of data and submit them to partner management team as part of approval of the monthly statements.
  • Configure and maintain active licenses for revenue-sharing partners.
  • Prepare ad hoc analyses for Partner Management in response to partner inquiries.
  • Create and distribute management reports.
  • Work with internal and external auditors for SOX control testing.
  • Write and maintain procedures as per department guidelines related to the operational functions, analysis, audits, and reporting functions assigned to this position.
  • Assist with processing expense reports and other accounts payable tasks.
  • Participate with special projects as assigned.

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field or equivalent experience. 
  • 3+ years’ work experience in a Finance operations role. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with strict attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills – verbal and written.
  • Organized and able to multi-task and prioritize workload.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and mission driven environment.
  • Ability to work independently, performing to high standards of productivity and accuracy.
  • Ability to work with all levels of internal and external teams, from staff to executive leadership.
  • Ability and willingness to meet critical deadlines.
  • Prior experience with data analysis, trending, and management reporting.
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
  • Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and prior experience working with auditors on internal controls testing and procedures. 

What we prefer:

  • Prior experience in the insurance or healthcare industry.
  • Experience with Workday Finance systems.
  • Experience with analyzing dashboards / reports from Tableau is desired. 
  • Experience processing expense reports.

The base pay range reflects the anticipated pay range for this position. The actual base pay offered will depend on various factors including individual skills, experience, performance, qualifications, the department budget, and the location where work is performed. Base pay is one component of eHealth’s total rewards package, which also includes an annual performance bonus, plus an array of benefits designed to support employees’ personal and professional wellness. Base Pay Range -$51,200 – $64,000
