JOB SUMMARY:
The Senior HRIS Analyst – Security/Compensation is responsible for supporting the Workday platform security, Compensation and Advanced Compensation Modules as a primary speciality. Additionally, handling escalated tickets, troubleshooting issues, and supporting enhancmentnts that ensure seamless system functionality. This role works closely with HR, IT and Finance leaders to identify system enhancements, improve processes, and elevate the candidate/employee experience. Additionally, the analyst will provide support for other Workday modules as needed, playing a key role in resolving complex issues and driving continuous improvement across HR operations.Â
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- EDUCATION:  Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business Administration,HR Management or equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree. .
- EXPERIENCE: A minimum of 8 years of recent experience in the day-to-day management and configuration support of Workday, specifically focused on Workday Security, Compensation and HCM Core. Proven experience supporting at least one other Workday module, such as Time Tracking, Absence, Payroll, or Benefits, is required.
- CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE: Â Workday certifications are preferred.
- SKILLS: Â
- Proven experience in advanced Workday configuration, break-fix support, and troubleshooting of system issues to ensure seamless operation and functionality.
- In-depth knowledge of using Enterprise Interface Builders (EIBs) and other Workday technical tools for data migration and system integration.
- Familiar with Workday Security roles, models, and domain security impacts
- Strong proficiency in developing, customizing, and managing comprehensive reporting solutions, using Workday Report Writer. Skilled in translating complex data into actionable insights for HR and business decision-makers
- Extensive experience working in environments where resolving a high volume of Workday-related tickets within tight SLAs was mandatory. Proven track record of efficiently managing workload, prioritizing critical issues, and delivering timely solutions to meet business demands.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication skills, and the ability to interface directly with company leaders
- Knowledge of healthcare industry is preferred

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Ensures that all activities performed align with the vision of Elara Caring’s board of directors, executive team, and the leadership of the Human Resources team. Â
- Serves as Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Workday Security, Compensation, Advanced Compendation to Workday Team and Business Partners.
- Performs system administration functions including business process configuration, analysis of all data issues resulting from interface upload errors or incorrect data transmission from or to external vendors.
- Researches and resolves HRIS problems, unexpected results, or process flaws; performs scheduled activities; recommends solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements, within defined SLAs.
- Works closely with HR, Talent Acquisition, business partners and technical teams to provide ongoing Workday support.
- Lead the training and development of HR Super Users with elevated access in Workday modules. Provide ongoing guidance, monitor their usage of the system, and ensure they are effectively contributing to process improvements and maximizing system value.
- Gathers and defines requirements/recommendations, documents change for control purposes, designs and implements solutions to ensure user ease of adoption.
- Supports future Workday releases, researches new functionality, and partners with the HR Team on the rollout of applicable enhancements.
- Configures and implements system upgrades and enhancements.
- Leads testing and data validation and ensures that business process mapping, and overall system performance is aligned with organizational objectives.
- Applies communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help maximize the benefit of training and knowledge transfer for internal team members as needed.
- Creates custom or modifies existing reports to meet business needs.
- Troubleshoots end user and system issues as required.
- Maintains strict confidentiality to protect employee data privacy.
- Partners with stakeholders to understand HR and business needs in order to recommend Workday solutions to help Elara Caring meet its goals.
- Promotes Elara Caring’s philosophy, mission statement and administrative policies to ensure quality of care.
- Maintains patient and staff privacy and confidentiality pursuant to HIPAA Privacy Final Rule.
