Elekta Business Services Sp. z o. o., Elekta’s Global Business Service Center is a Team based in Warsaw that provides recommendation of global best practices and ensures that improvement initiatives are delivered globally in consistent and quality-based way through standard processes and competent staff. Continuously since 2016 with our expertise and deep dive into root-causes of every issue we may encounter we support areas of Finance, QA&RA documents control, Logistics, IT and Service Operation.


Within this role you are involved in the day-to-day management of Elekta’s HR applications. Workday is our core system within the HRIS portfolio. Key in the role is to work with our user groups to maintain the systems and to support internal customer requirements. Therefore, the Global HRIS Specialist has a deep understanding of all components, features and functions of Workday. This knowledge and competences will ensure continuity of the system and successful deliver of deployments of new functionality and improved functionality. Within these projects we work closely with our HR-colleagues as well as with colleagues from other parts of the organizations (for example IT, finance, quality and legal). This role will also share system knowledge with other internal administrators, create courses, run reports, address user issues on a global level (third level support) and communicate with all to ensure full utilization and optimization of the system.


  • Coordinate projects to implement new and improve existing functionality for our HR applications
  • Configure, test and roll-out new and improved functionality, including interfaces or integrations to other systems
  • Work with key stakeholders to gather and assess user requirements for further improvements
  • Be a part of maintaining effective communication plans
  • Support internal customer to resolve issues related to our HR applications
  • Create and carry out training for users (incl. administrators)
  • Maintain “access and rights” for users
  • Ensure integrity of compliance with HR process and data-protection acts
  • Host user group and project meetings for HR (internal/external)
  • Assist with creating and loading custom content as required
  • Contribute to HRIS roadmap discussions to support the creation of the HRIS roadmap

Relevant knowledge, skills, and competencies

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3 – 5 years of system administration or HR experience
  • Experience with Workday
  • Preferably have experience working with Workday talent management, advanced compensation, reporting, absence management and time tracking.
  • Computer skills to include proficiency in MS Office
  • Fluent in English
  • Customer/business focused
  • Proactive
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and complete tasks/projects in accordance with stated deadlines
  • Flexible and willing to accommodate different time zones (when required)
  • Able to learn or train others on new configurations/systems
  • People-oriented to work in global teams
  • Willingness to travel occasionally (2 – 3 time a year)
